I've had a few indoor grows using photo and I've been somewhat successful. Due to a few challenges for space and security I'm using a large warming box I built for another purpose many years ago. I got the idea of using it to grow a single auto and this is the current state of the plant. I didn't keep track of when I planted the seed but I feel like it broke through about 2 weeks ago and three at the very most.

I started it in a small plug and laid it over a lot when I transplanted it. This resulted in a really thick main stem. It only took a few days for the plan to grow toward the light. I topped it but I didn't remove the whole top. I couldn't help myself :).

The soil is reused from other grows and it's spent of nutes. I charged the soil with pH water only. So far I've given the plant only one feeding using GP three part, mixed as recommended, along with cal-mag.

I'm using a tub and I'm hoping the shallow depth is made up for by the overall area.

If I need to provide more information I can do so. I have a few questions if I may of the members who may be interested in contributing.

When should I increase the humidy?

I'm currently using a 100 watt grow light and it seems perfect placed about 24" above the plant. What lighting difficulties should I look for as the plant matures?

When should I do the first defoliation? These things grow amazingly fast and there are new shoots everywhere. I'm not accustomed to the aggressive growth of autos.

I'm going to have to do some training in order to keep the canopy low enough. I've done some serious training on the photo grows I've done but I've read that autos are easily stressed by training and doing so can drastically reduce the yield. Am I going to be OK with spreading out the long branches. Maybe a little bit each day?

Is there a blue hue in those tips or is it just the light?

I think it looks great for 2+wks. What do you mean you topped it but did'nt remove the whole top? Are there 2 stems with future bud sites like a fork? It's a struggle to raise humidity for myself in winter. All i have is a fan stationed outside the tent. I'm very old school but my grows work well for me doing it this way. Don't remove any leaves yet. What on an off times are you doing? It's better to use less than more can't treat it with the nutes like your photos.
I top my autos and do LST training but carefully. These get brittle stems at a month and could send it into flower. I run my autos 18/6. 100watt at 24" is good. How tall is that box/tent it's in?

The box is 3' tall. Given I have the light (20hr light/day) against the ceiling of the box. I'll need to spread out the branches a lot I feel. I've seen other autos in box type "tents" and they were successful. The height is my biggest concern.

I removed the top but it seems like there were two tiny leaves that remained after I pinched off the top so? It doesn't look like topping ruined anything so far as I did this a week ago and the plant is growing very well imo.
What do you mean about the nutrients I use?
