This is my first grow attempt ever. The seed was just a random seed that my buddy gave. I have no idea what strain. I thought maybe some of you with more experience may have an idea what she is. I put her in the ground on may 7th. She has had no fertilizers other than household items. I’ve used coffee grounds, epsom salts, honey, eggshells, and potato tea. She did suffer a little shock early on, animal got tangled in lst ties, it broke off a major branch and spit the stalk about an inch. Just curious about what stain she is and how much longer do you think till harvest. My buddy said she’s ready now but I feel like she got a little more left in her. I’m a rookie so go easy on me. Any advice is appreciated.

GDP, permanent marker, one of 3 blueberries. Idk she looks ok. If you get a magnifier on it and the trichs are white over and you want a sativa like finish probably pull when those hairs orange over. If you want a stoney couch lock high then wait until the trichomes amber over but do watch that humidity in the morning, it causes mold.

Thanks, I’ve got several friends already smoking this years crop, this has been an experience for me. I just didn’t wanna let her go to long. I haven’t seen any amber on any sites and the buds look better everyday. I know dative can take some time and patience, I just want my first grow to be ok at the least.

First indicator is your hairs or pistils are green/white, those have to go orange, and then judge by trichome after it's at least 95% orange.

In some strange cases, and I had one, the hairs will stall white so then you have to see if they get a little twisted and withered.
I swear that looks like someone's GDPxMothers Milk. @Crazyformes yours? @closettrapper217 ?

That’s what I thought from my reading, but he told me they were already too cloudy.
cloudy yes but are they amber even on top? I'm saying no by the hairs. I ran a cherry bomb auto that the hairs like shock turned after it was ready but that is an exception.

Then you should wait till you see some amber. You wont regret it. Check the entire bud top to bottom, not just the top. Top goes faster than the rest.

We don't know if it's sativa or what so you can only tune by the finish. It looks nice, don't rush it, but the first option is milked over trichs with very few clear and at least a splash of amber on top. That's your "sativa like" finish. Going more amber is more "indica". You can pull a frosted over plant it's just time to be super careful and you're new. Another option is to watch the forecast very carefully and *THIS IS A THEORY* if there is going to be a definite frost, then an hour before dig out the root ball, take it inside in a pot, and give it a mild watering. It should even if it shocks and begins to die, give you a few days of accellerated stress resin production *THIS IS A THEORY*
Or panic harvest when it frosts and aggressively fan it off then dry it.
Or decide one frost isn't lethal (might not be).
Either way I think you'll decide better when you're real high.

That was my thoughts, the buds are developing more everyday. I know sativa dominate plants can take some time. I just wonder how long I’ve got. We can get some frost and even a little snow here in late October.
I feel you there, got some outside that need to survive till the end of the month somehow.

If the weather goes bad late October you can just cut her down. She's actually ready now because the trichs are cloudy but waiting for the amber to show just enhances the experience to its best by taking away the psychoactive edge and introducing the relaxing part. You're ripening the buds really. In 1-2 weeks you'll know.

I don’t know if I could dig this root ball up. How big is a root system on an 8’ plant

Yeah I did a quick Google but everything it showed me was fungus and rot and that's not what your plants look like to me.
