Greetings to the whole community from Italy. I'm here to share my first experience with you and I hope to receive some advice to best succeed in my cultivation. About 48 hours ago I put 5 seeds of critical x white seed salad in the ground (light mix of bio bizz, black bag ) and turned on my quantum board 3400k 100w lamp (samsung) 18/6. I would like to point out that initially the seeds were immersed in water for about 18 hours and then I moved them into the ground as can be seen in the photo. the temperature varies between 25.5 and 29 degrees with a humidity of 70/85%. I will be patient, I can't wait to see my first seedlings grow. if I can improve something I'm happy to do it with your advice.

Hello from France.

You should have started with smaller pots... you risk overwatering, be careful.

For heat have you dimmed you're quantum b ?

Ciao dalla Francia.

Avresti dovuto iniziare con vasi più piccoli... rischi di innaffiare troppo, fai attenzione.

Per il calore hai attenuato il tuo quantum b?

the QB has a height of 65 cm, your seedlings will produce long stems, it is better to stay at 30 or 40 cm by dimming the intensity of the QB by -30%

the lamp is positioned at 65 cm only for germination, in a few days I will change the lamp with a 200w LED which I will position at 40cm. furthermore, I am waiting for the aspirator, which is why the temperature is slightly high, in the next few days I will install it at least I will be able to have a good recycling of air

Raising the light does decrease the intensity. It is always do one or the other, although simply twisting a knob to dim the light is much easier, hehe.

I prefer to turn the knob and stay at 30 or 40 cm at the beginning...this will avoid having a 5-day-old seedling which has a 15 cm stem and which climbs who knows where

11L pots are definitely a bit big for seedlings. You should still be alright but be extra cautious with watering — the roots won’t be able to use the moisture early on (which can = overwatering and slow growth.) Observe them closely and keep checking in! Good luck.
