that’s from not letting the pot dry out fully.Found her like this in the morning, gave her water yesterday with a bit of sensizym. Looks like underwatering or nutrient burn? Please help!
yes it’s a male, looks good, no overwatering or nute burn.@Cannibeast @GNick55 @ma bourdon @SSgrower
And not from overwatering the plant after transplanting? Because when i tried to save it and transplanted again it was like mud, when i say mud i mean how a good soil's mud would look, not mud you find in nature. But how come i found one egg sack opened? It had pollen already, i even put some on other two little plant as they are dying just to see if anything would happen. I am not sure what to do as i germinated another harlequin, but i won't be done with male plant before her, so i might get cross pollination..how can i avoid that, i only have one grow tent, small one as you can see..that’s from not letting the pot dry out fully.
Theu grow seperate tap roots, so if you split them early you have a chance to grow both. Growing in one pot: dominant twin will overpower the other seedling. I managed to split them and plant in seperate pots, one is growing slower however.I don’t think you’re going to be able to keep both plants no way to split them without stunting them if you cut the roots in half and they live it will take them a lot of time to recover If you don’t want to buy more seeds and it’s not a auto, grow one out and take clones if you stunt them you might get nothing
And never grow both? I mean it's understandable if you grow many plants and low yelder is not worth it. That is what i did, cut a clone you from weakling you mean? Would it transfer twin phenomen? stupid question probablyWhen I see that, I cut the weakling.
But they're so small, just dump the cup in your hand and gently put the dirt on it's side on a table. Then gently work them out and replant in their own cup. Should be easy at that size. If you find that you have Siamese twins, replant it and cut the small one.
Not at all.And never grow both? I mean it's understandable if you grow many plants and low yelder is not worth it. That is what i did, cut a clone you from weakling you mean? Would it transfer twin phenomen? stupid question probably
That's what i heard, that's why i seperated them. But in general after split weakling should catch up more or less? Probs won't as it's auto? Caring hand of a woman cares for all the living, amen, what would we do without them :D As it is my first grow i want to gain as much experience as i can and seeing twin cannabis plant coming from one seed was very new and exciting that is why i kept them alive, plus extra yeld won't bother. Not at all.
A weakling will sap energy from the healthy one. If you want two plants, pop another seed.
I typically pop a dozen seeds and by the time they go in the ground, I only have 4 of the healthiest. Why waste my time trying to coax a nice plant out of a dud? That said, it you just like growing, go for it. It certainly hurt you.
People are always trying to max out their plants. To be honest, not many people can. But getting rid of low hanging fruit like a weakling is a step in the right direction. There are just too many variables at play to truly max them out. But I do know a couple people who can get awfully close, and the first thing they do is cull the herd.
My wife on the other hand, will let everything grow. Strong and weaklings alike. I always want to tell her to kill them, but I don't want to get my head cut off. lol.
Sure they could catch up, but not completely. They'll always be smaller. If you can only legally grow 4-6 plants, you want to chose the healthiest. That's what i heard, that's why i seperated them. Amen brother, besides it's worth a try if it's for new grower's expernience. I will post update in a bit, you will see how i tried to get as much from them, maybe you can advice here and there. Your own cross or? One of the harlequins was overwatered and needed whole month to recover, all that was at seedling stage, but she is doing well now.Caring hands of a woman will save them, but it won't make them into something they're not. On that note, I have rescued a 3 inch seedling that had damped off. It was fine one day, the next it had flopped over. I normally just bin it, but this time I slowly and gently pulled it out of it's pot and the whole root came out easily. I put it in a glass of water on a window sill. Damn if it didn't come back. lol.
