Thanks! I wasn’t sure if I was doing it rightWelcome to the farm. Great posts!
First post pictures were days 2,3,8, and 9
I continued watering with my Cichlid tanks water for quite some time, didn’t PH it, didn’t even know that was a thing!
Over the next ten days growth became quicker and on day 18 I topped it (just pinched the 5th node out before it really even pushed out)
Unbeknownst to me this was around the time nutrient issues to show. Lightening of the leaf tips, and discolouring of the veins.

It’s a South American cichlid tank so not quite all the bright colours of an African tank. I’ve since reduced it to the two jack dempseys pictured and a Green Terror. As well as the loaches.Welcome.... Show some of your cichlids off! They are awesome... I only have marine tanks now, but cichlids are what got me into reefing and everytime I see a cichlid tank I get tempted to run one with some potted plants or something
One week later at day 33, not a lot has changed everything just starting to put on weight. Buds are swaying in the wind.

The odd ball plant is looking delicious, glad I kept it going with a clone. Buds are dense little golf balls.
