3 week in flower and was making some adjustments to 2 of my taller plants in the scrog and broke a branch on each. The one was just a random branch the other a little more concerning the main top. Neither broke the outer layer so just tied up and didn't really think twice about it. The next morning the one I broke the main near the top had really got frosty buds and down the leaves. Still didn't get 2 concerned. But the 3rd morning when I went to have a look they both turned hermaphrodite. Is this pretty common during the flower stage if you damage a plant? And why did the one get so frosty?

there’s so many reasons for things, without knowing everything about your grow,
than forget about it and move on,,
like just switching from 18/6-12/12 can cause healthy plants to hermie,, any type of stress can do it,.

Stress causes defense response in plants. One of the defenses against damage from eaters is tricomes.
If a plant is damaged to where it has to repair tissue it can flood the area with a tric response.
I use the stress of lower light levels to cause a panic in the plant to finish its life purpose. And then horribly do not let it complete it's work and throw it in darkness until the sweet release of death.
Then in homage to the plants spirit I burn it in the ancient ways.

Wow that turned dark....

That had the vibe of Tool's "Disgustipated." The cries of the carrots... for the harvest is their holocaust, dear brother! 🤣🤣🤣

Very dark in the end 😉

Super glue…. Support the broken branch (if it’s not completely off) and super glue the stem…. Works to support and seal the wound until it heals…. Like a cut on one of us…. Good stuff….✌️
