I'm using advanced nutrients ph perfect so it locks the ph around 5.9, I contacted them, they seem to think I should just up food a bit but I'll keep an eye in case my ph meter is off.For shits and giggles.
why not up the ph of your next couple feeds to 7.
it will help. Trust me.
It will help with the ph drift, and increase mag uptake.
Mars Hydro TSL2000 18" and 80%. Highest lux reading I got was about 32,000. I have probably had a bit too much runoff on some feedings. Roots looked healthy when transplanting. I'm still getting the hang of how much to water to get the right runoff. Humidity is around 55-60% at highest and 42% at lowest. Temps have been steady at 78 during day and 65 at night. Maybe too cold at night?Definitely showing signs of overwatering... but I would guess because of lower root temps or high humidity or combination.
Use PH perfect as directed and add nothing else... not even cal mag. You need a min of 400pp. And I would say aboit 600 now.
How close are the lights and what are they?
i cant remember who, but a member here posted this, and i found it useful to use to get the info folks here like

2. How old are your plants? On week 2 of veg but just over 3 weeks from sprout.
3. How tall are your plants? 9-10"
4. What size containers are they planted in? Just moved from 1 gal to 3 gal
5. What is your soil mix? 70 coco 30 perlite
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use? Once at lights on with ro water
7. What is the pH of your water? 5.9
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A+B grow, b-52, Voodoo Juice.
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? B-52 once or twice but not anymore.
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 2 x Mars Hydro TSL2000 @ 80%
11. How close are your lights to the plants? 18"
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 5x5x7
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 78 at day 65 night 60% and 42%
14. What is the pH of the soil?
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? No
16. How much experience do you have growing? Not a ton, tons of reading though.
I just had a summer crop and mine was like that because of the water temp to high at 28 c best advice flush so waste is at 1.2ec and try to get water temp between 19 c to 24c is the best any higher they don't like it and Can lock out and not use elements and then they build up and more probs start happening and set ph at 5.3 for 2 weeks and go 5.5 and ec 1.6 max for growHey all, I'm growing in 70/30 coco/perlite and am following week 2 of the feeding schedule. I was late by a few days with feeding full strength nutes when I started so I did have some magnesium issues.
Just transplanted from 1 gal into 3 gal. Checking the plants today 2 showed similar spots and one had what looks like maybe some light burn from water on the leaves. The other two seem to be having a nutrient issue. Any advice? Runoff readings have been good for the most part and Aqua Man has been giving some great advice too.

They just went to sleep so I'll do that first thing in the am. Thanks!I would cut the light back to 20k.... not the full reason but it's not helping. That's getting pretty high for a small plant like that.
Nothing.... You should be always watering to 20% run off when growing in Coco. What's wrong with watering until runoff in coco?
I was just under the impression that you get pH problems when you under water coco.Nothing.... You should be always watering to 20% run off when growing in Coco.
You will get people telling you that you don't have to, but they are either very dumb OR very experienced wih growing in Coco.. In My Opinion I must of course say it is :-)
Correct.Under watering can lead to salt buildup in coco, right?
If your gunna water 3 gal pots like the grower to runoff in coco, advise to water every other day. Until roots expand after transplant.Correct.
Also good advise. 20k will help recovery.I would cut the light back to 20k.... not the full reason but it's not helping. That's getting pretty high for a small plant like that.
Thanks, I've read up to 50,000k in veg is that just closer to week 4 and 5 when they're bigger or is that overkill? Also good advise. 20k will help recovery.
Cut it back to 20k, watering today read:I would cut the light back to 20k.... not the full reason but it's not helping. That's getting pretty high for a small plant like that.
I can do one tomorrow. Too much going on today.Like I said last night. Your mag uptake will be slow, very slow at your current ph levels.
can you do a slurry test today?
The ph in the bottle is perfect but I’ve found that it doesn’t ph perfect the water also. Test ph of water/nute mix to make sure.Run AV Ph perfect many times.
sometimes requires ph up, or down at times.
its not perfect. No nutes are from the bottle.
