Thanks Lex, that is much appreciated. I’ve learned a lot this run though and here is to bigger prettier buds in the future. Those plants turned out really good!!
Using only red light is very interesting is that even something that should be done? Only having the red spectrum? I know it’s meant for flowering I just wonder how much red light is too much? I’m building a LED fixture to fit in my 2x2 at my girlfriends house and got 2 strips of deep and IR its gonna be badass when it’s finished you got me motivated to have some wall to wall 2x2 grows. Grow is looking great man but all the red looks kinda strange lol. I got 3 lemon kush clones flowering in mine currently I’ll have to get an updated pic to show ya but it’s well on its way to be wall to wall of bud.Day 95: Good afternoon friends! So I actually got a few updates today nothing to terribly exciting but fun experiments none the less. Day and a half until harvest time!!!
Firstly I topped off the reservoir with RO which gets my EC down to ehhh 150 or so. Just to note EC of my RO is like 2-3That being said this won’t be a total flush but close enough I should be at like 20-30 EC by Saturday.
Lastly I pulled my SF-4000 from the tent. Man that thing is heavier than I remember. Also, it is not a fun task to try to get it off the cross member when the cross member is actually strung through the hanging wires and the plant is about 3-4 inches from the light. I then mounted my Kessil H80 to the top of the tent and have that on full UV/IR at about 750-760nm it is redder than the devils ass in there and looks like something out of a horror show. That light is about 1.5’ from the plant last and has a spread rating of 2+ feet, so it will cover the entire canopy just fine.
It should be fun to see what they look like at harvest, either really sunburnt or some good last minute trichome production? Anywho here are some pics.
Before and after cam shots, the Arlo has a hard time focusing in all that red light.

Yeah, again this is all experimental. But, from what I have read is that the UV/IR from a fall sun is really good for rapid trichromatic production. And people often substitute it in some grows. Also, bear in mind these will be the only lights in the room but also for only the next day and a half. I will definitely post some pics tomorrow and right before harvest of how they are reacting.Using only red light is very interesting is that even something that should be done? Yup lol a down right horror show! But I will say it is going to few so so so good to harvest her finally! I can’t wait to post the weight. And the "Rivers" ran red with blood. That's going to be some apocalyptically good weed. Lets hope for no swarms of locusts in the next 48 hours.
Thanks man! And I used a sf-4000 for flowering.Good shit bro, buds look great! What kind of light did you use?
I had to keep my strength up for the 14 hour marathon. So a bowl of udon was had as well as some home made wild rice potato soup. One more question... salt/pepper/siracha? What kind of harvest technique is this and where can I sign up?
