Hi all this is my very first grow I'm hoping for some advice.
4x4 tent Sf1000 light with dimmer Spider farmer 4 inch vent kit with automatic controller
2 6 inch clip fans
Growing in 3 liter fabric pots
Photo seeds pink lemonade
This pictures 18 days above ground.
Tent temp 75
Humidity 60
Water is 5.6 ph water every 4 days if soil meter shows dry
The soil is made by the hydroponics store won't need anything but water until flower I was told.
Looking good so far. Main feedback would be to watch that your watering is more even (saturating all the soil) otherwise you can cause dry pockets in the soil. I would also bring up your ph a bit, closer to 6.0-6.4 in soil I believe (though I'm not a soil expert, that's from what I remember).

Hmm, do you remember what brand? 5.0-5.5 is low for soil. I'll wait for the soil experts to chime in but I think 5.8-6.2 is more ideal after checking my notes.

Our Superior Cannabis Soil is made from the finest blend of organic ingredients and specifically formulated to produce maximum growth, health and yields. We use sustainable, organic ingredients; including our own special blend compost that is loaded with growth-boosting microorganisms that plants thrive on! Our soil is rich with an abundance of trace minerals and bio-diversity not found in commercially produced products. In addition to our exceptional ingredients, what truly sets our soil apart is our process. Every batch of Stone Queen Organic soil is mixed by hand then cooked for a minimum of 30 days. The process of “cooking” allows the nutrients to break down into simpler forms thereby creating more accessible uptake for your plants. Plants grown in organic soil contain higher levels of nutrients, minerals, better flavor and aroma.
Organisms remain in the soil so there is less chance of nutrient run off or waste
Slow release of nutrients protects the plants from overfeeding and burning
Formulated for optimal aeration and drainage
Organic soil deters pest infestations and inhibits pathogens
Organic nutrients stay in the soil for much longer than liquid /chemical nutrients
Organic soil improves and enhances flavor
Sustainable and environmentally friendly
All Organic-No Chemicals
Easy application-simply pour and grow!
Benefits of Our Soil:
Marijuana plants thrive in soil with a pH between about 5.5 and 6.5 but struggle when growing in soils outside of that pH range. As the soil gets further from the desired pH range, it becomes difficult, then impossible for marijuana plants to uptake certain important nutrients. This nutrient lockout not only deprives your plants of important nutrients which stall growth but leads to plant stress and eventually plant death.
Our soil has a pH between 5.9-6.3, however, it is also very important to check the pH of your water on a regular basis
I think saying that soil has a PH of x is misleading. This is going to change over time even with just water. 5.0 is too low based on my knowledge. I shoot for a solid range of 6 to 6.8 depending on the life cycle of the plant in a soil grow.

They look good
Haven't done soil for a while but traditionally soil grows didn't need to amend pH unless it was really extreme water
Soil naturally buffered the water & allowed uptake through the drift
When starting them out water from below and let them wick what they need until they're established. After that water from above with a run off
