I was wondering how long I’m supposed to keep them in vegetative state? And should I be trimming more of the large leaves?Looking great. How long do you think you will be keeping it in veg? I typically do two months bc they will double in size once you flip. I’d go scog.
I dislike dealing with scrog nets i'm older and less flexible LOL and i move them around to work on cleaning out the lower portions of small tiny stems mid flower. I top my photos inside and LST but you do what's comfortable for you. I'd say at least top cause you'll run out of space unless your tent is 8ft tall LOL.I’m not sure what to do. Top them or scog or both?
As I said, I am so new to thisI dislike dealing with scrog nets i'm older and less flexible LOL and i move them around to work on cleaning out the lower portions of small tiny stems mid flower. Uh, and what light cycle do I switch to? Sorry, first timerAs I said, I am so new to this! I do have to pull them out of the tent to do trimming because at 50 reaching around in the tent is not easy
Is there a way to top them properly? And is there some way of knowing when I should switch over out of veg state?
I’m doing the LST. Read about that . Is there a way to tell when you should switch the light to 12-12?Figure double or triple the height of what they are now if you don't top or LST and please read how to do this type of training. It's really importaint before you do something to know why and how. Your tent height and how low the light hangs in conjunction to where the light panel is to plants.
So Bruce banner is one of the most vigorous and leafy strains you can grow, it’s not typically grown indoors. Your going to want to prune it out a lot. Yes you could top it if your going for an even canopy. Don’t be afraid to do some high stress training on Bruce it needs it and handles it very well. This is my first grow and I’m about two months in. This is Bruce Banner, not auto, They are photo period
Growing in tent 50-60 humidity and 70-75 degrees. We are on an 18 6 schedule.
They look pretty healthy. I think I’m doing fairly well. I’m using an all purpose fertilizer once a week. They’re taking in over a liter and a half of water a day at this point. I am wondering if I should start cutting things? any advice would be great as to what I should do now. Should I be topping them or using scrog. Any advice as to what my next steps are would be greatly appreciated. On another note, our side lights something I should invest in?
You can cut off 30% of the foliage but no more. The idea of toping is to encourage the under growth and let it all fill in evenly. But yea Bruce banner is vigorous as hell so don’t be afraid to train them. Prune out the inside of the plant. Be aware that the soil will take a bit longer to dry after pruning so do it when the soil is somewhat dry and give a light watering/fed after. As I said, I am so new to this! I fixed a nitrogen deficiency in the beginning. They are drinking up to1-2 liters a day. I’m just not sure how many leaves to trim and which ones. I’ve been getting advice from a friend who has had many successful grows. But she uses auto flower.
