Hi, my name is David and this is my first indoor grow that I'm doing by myself. And I have a question regarding the nutrients, I would like to know how much of the Emerald, harvestnutrients, honey chome and king cola, I will need to get in order to last all the way through the flowering stage Until harvest. I am running four 5 gallon fabric pots in soil. Oh ya and I need to know how much of the honey chone and king kola to buy based on this feeding schedule..(see pic) I will be using the 2 part feeding schedule using the Cali Pro Bloom A & B, as well as the honey chomecand king kola. I have the 2 quart size bottles of the Cali Pro Bloom A & B, so will i need the same sized bottles of the honey chome and king kola? Like I said this is my first indoor grow by myself so any and all advice and/or tips are very much appreciated! Thanks!

For liquid feed I always recommend starting with 1/2 dose of what the manufacture says for photoperiods and like 1/4-1/3 for auto flowers since they are a bit more touchy. Most of these companies have a number you can call or an online chat feature that's also super helpful.

I haven't used your nutes, but the right answer to your question will depend on a lot of things, including whether you're using soil that includes nutritional amendments. In an amended soil, you don't feed very much.

5 gallon pots of soil is a broad brush. We will need brand and what you put in it. Most folks amend soil with products that help drainage or add a specific nutrient to the soil. Just let us know and we can help.
Welcome to the Farm.

Well they were in 1 gal fabric geo pots with fix farm ocean forest mix and also used some mycrorrhizae powder i threw in there when I transplanted them into the 1 gal pots.i am going to be upgrading to new soil i thi k im going ot use coast of maine stockington mix but if you know of something better please let me know. I have them in a 4x4 tent and I havent transplanted them into the 5 gal geopots yet and have had them under a shitty grow light on a 18-6 schedule and all ive given them sp far is bottles water, spring i belive. I just got my tent set up with my light and fan and etc. Got a mars hydro 4x4 tent with the fc-e4800 light & inline fan w/carbon filter combo. I know its not the best but didn't wanna spring for the fancy shit on my first grow ya know. Oh ya Got a dust shroom im using on outside of tent to prevent dust from entering into my tent from the room im in cause the fight with dust never ends over here lol but I been attacking it on all fronts know that. Anyway I have been giving them only water as of now and am going to give them there first feeding of nutrients in 2 days I think. Im going to give then the Cali Pro veg and &b. If there's anything else I should get for these last few weeks of veg before I flip the lights please let me know cause I go to my local grow shop a lot lately and will be there today again so will pick uo anything if you guys think I need it. Im also going up be using RO water from this fist feeding & onwards. I've been watching a lot of videos and after doing that I dont think ill need the 1 gallon sized jugs of the Emerald harvest line up I was asking about earlier, I think i csn just get the 1 quart or two quart sized sized bottles and that will be enough. But if if wrong please let me know. After watching some videos and talking to people on reddit (before I found this app cause this app is the absolute coolest shit ever going to help me sooo much I already can tell) I think im going to spring for the while emerald harvest line up for the flowering cycle i got upcoming. The Cali pro bloom A&B, Honey Chome, King Kola, emerald goddess, root wizard, cal-mag & sturdy stalk. Is there anything g else I might need that is a must have? I know i kind of answered my own question but I really appreciate all the feedback has really made me fo from stressing on this to feeling way better because I can tell this is a great community of people who are really awesome and who are more than willing to help people like me and thats going to he and already is such a blessing g for someone like me so in all seriousness, thank you all for that. SO THAT BEING SAID, should I wait til I transplant into 5 gal pots before I give them the Cali pro veg a&b? Or should I just go for it? Also when do I top these puppies? Will post pics as well. Damn sorry I feel like a kindergartener right now getting all excited and asking his teachers 100 questions a minute lol sorry for that guys. Can't wait to hear back from everyone. Im from NorCal by the way, LOST COAST LOCAL where's everyone from?

513 Cincy area.
Lemme look at your nute selection and advise.
on the soil. I use for farms exclusively. The Ocean Forest os a good product but can benifit from some extra perlite, 3-4 cups is about normal but I have seen mixes in journals where it is mixed 50-50 and ran with a hydro nutes.
OF soil has nutes for 3-4 weeks depending on how spot on your grow is. The nutrition in OF is also self regulating as is the PH in the soil as long as all you add is water. At this point you have an easy to manage organic grow until nutes. lemme look at them and respond.

It may be formulated with hydro growing in mind, but just like other hydro nutes on the market it can be used with a soil grow if you can convert to correct feeding quantities. Growing in a shelf soil rich in nutes could be dicey but a low nutrient mix like coco, peat and perlite you have less of that unknown variable.

It is claiming to be all organic and from reading the instructions its a pretty heavy mix. My organic is 1-1-1 intil converted. This stuff is much higher and the feed rate is 30% of my nutes. Would have no idea how to math that out.

AZ my friend. You think you have dust? Ha! I have
never seen dust as bad as where I'm currently at!.

Around here it's a pleasure to see noobs get super

I'm curious why you decided on Emerald?

Break up your long posts into sections
or short paragraphs. It makes it much
easier to read

Important: when using silica and cal-mag,
you must mix the silica 1st, then the calmag
then the rest of your nutes.

edit to add: Oh, and if and when you have
problems, ask here and try and get a consensus
before making any drastic changes.

Stop into "The Trainwreck" thread and say
hello. It's an (almost) anything goes thread.

Are Emerald harvest nutrients good

I use and advocate use of Emerald Harvest nutrients, absolutely. I hear they are working on an organic line, as well. Would love to see that. I cannot speak for EH's 3 part series, but their 2 part "Cali Pro" series is excellent. Potent stuff, all of their products - a little goes a long way...

Whoa @FloridaMike thanks for those tips, especially the silica first then cal-mag then the rest of the nutrients tip cause I did not know that!

And yes i can see how my prior post must have seemed like a giant ramble of word vomit, will be breaking up paragraphs from now, another tip much appreciated.

I concede, Arizona has got to have way more dust than me. Do you use dust shrooms or how do you keep the dust out of your grow?

As to why i chose Emerald harvest nutes was because I was recommended them for being easy to use for first time growers, particularly the 2 part cali pro veg and bloom. Also They seemed to have some good results and were also affordable which was definitely a factor for me right now. All the Emerald harvest products are designed to be used together so that appealed to me a lot as well. Im definitely not like die hard sold on these nutes or anything just am trying them out and hoping for the best!

I really appreciate your help and ya I wont lie this all has me pretty excited, was starting to be stressful and im sure it will be at some points but much more exciting than anything else. I have been wanting to grow my own for some time mow and after looking at my bank statement last month and seeing how much these dispensaries were just raking me through the coals with these expensive prices, I just decided to take a stand and say NO-MORE! Plus I work too hard and love weed too much to justify spending the amount I have been on it and to not just be growing my own product.

Whoever created this app, hats off to you cause your clearly a genius. I already know this app is going to be invaluable to me over the corse of my grow and future grows as well.

I will most definitely be checking out those forums you reccomended as well.

I will post some pics later today as I have some questions regarding when is the right time to top your crop, I think its time but id like some more opinions before I take the scissors to them.

Well its 5 am here and I been researching amd reading posts and forums amd articles all night trying to just learn as much as I can because I really do enjoy it so much, a feeling im sure everyone here can very much relate too!

Will be back soon fellas, take care and talk to you soon

Prolly means drain to waste cocoa. That is different than soil.
So now I am totally confused. You want to drain off your organic nutrition? It sounds like you may be conflating drain to waste salt based ferts where you drain off a bit and check ph and ec to see where the plant is taking nutrition and water.
I did find this using GAI. it does show a schedule based on the internet, for what thats worth.
And yes I know nutition is nutrition and can be used in whatever grow method you like but uptake matters. Fwiw it is hard to get sideways with organics but every once in a while I manage to do it

Yeah, I just read over their site and they are geared toward commercial hydro,
but theoretically, any nutes can be adapted to most any grow style.

That being said, you will be doing yourself a huge favor by listening to people
here vs people at a grow store or on YT.

If you can get it (and you haven't bought yet), I would highly recommend
Greenleaf Mega Crop 1 part for a 1st grow. I changed to it from General
Hydroponics 3 part liquid a couple months ago and will never look back.

1) you're not paying for water 2) It's dry salts that never go bad, 3) it's
simple to use & 4) a bag of it lasts for a long time.

You will not find better or more knowledgeable indoor growers on the planet.

If you act like you're going to hang around and participate & contribute, there's pretty
much 100% chance of scoring some fire-ass genetics, usually at no cost to you. There
are some very generous people here.

Okay these are the nutes im going to be using.. and ya im still in veg and havent even topped these babies yet but I think its about time to do so, will upload some pics when I get home and maybe you could let me know if you agree that its time to top or not. Here's the nute list ill be using.

These are all Emerald Harvest brand, this is what ive got..
Cali pro Veg A & B
Cali Pro Bloom A & B
Sturdy Stalk
Cal-Mag
Root Wizard
Honey Chome
King Kola
Emerald Godess

So far all they have had is water but i want to give them the Cali Pro VegA+B soon I just did t know whether I should top them first then feed, or feed them first then top?

Also I triple checked and Emerald Harvest is not strictly for hydroponics, their products are good in all types of grow media & ive spoken to quite a few ppl on reddit who swear by the Emerald Harvest products and they were all using soil as well.

The entire feeding schedule thing is quite confusing to me. I have 4 plants in 5 gallon geo pots in a 4x4 tent with a mars hydro fc-e4800. Just so tou know what im working with. Also am going to be using strictly RO water from now on starting tomorrow.

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts and message me back, its very much appreciated & highly valued as well! So thank you for that and I look forward to hearing your response.
