Hello there ! first post, i love smoking weed!!!! I'm from Kent UK, 40 year old next month loner stoner about to have a mid life crisis, this man needs to get speaking to people, ive been on and off here for many years reading and finally thought id join.

This is my first grow, no one i know smokes and dealer drive me nuts, never been a fan of waiting around to pick up. i have a spare room so thought id have a grow at some organic indoor gardening, i work in the forests on the saws coppercing so have a rough idea whats going on in nature and spend enough time in it but must say learning about how soils work has blown my mind and I'm really in it. thank you weed you are enlightening !

I have a 120x120 with a white reflective inside made buy some german company and its pretty dam tight, spider farmer sl2000 light which is awesome and everything else pretty standard, growing LSD Poyate cookie and some free seeds im unsure off, i stupidly put the seedling only a week old in a massive fabric pot as had nothing else. im on day 30 and they seem slow to me and was wondering thoughts if you please?

i did frazzle the tops a touch as this light is pretty strong and had to turn it down and lift it up

ive not wanted to over water them because of such a big pot and get root rot, do these look established to give a water that runs off?

I am using bio bizz and bio buzz fish mix at the mo.

A long post ! thats for reading and look forward to some replies many thanks !

Good day to you and welcome to the fam!!
Regarding overwatering.....what sized pots are those? 5 gallon (18liter)? If yes, that's what I use and I have found that watering every 2 days seems to work best. I look over each plant before watering, check how wet the soil/coco is. If the top is dry, assume it is twice as wet at the bottom of the pot. I look for any drooping on the plants which can mean overwatering and I'll then just wait another day. They're resilient and won't hate you for missing a day here and there.
Those are pretty decent looking 2 week old plants in my opinion. It looks like you're on the right path. The biggest thing in my opinion to remember is when you're over-analyzing your plants, (which you will:-)_ to not start to mess with things too much. Let it grow and it will show.
Happy farming and excited to see the results!!

Not a saddo whatsoever. Confession: I've been known to stare at my gardens for an absurd amount of time on a non-watering day Not touching not anything. Just gazing. What is going on in the cranium? It is all encompassing and takes you over. A true medatative moment that I used to think negatively about, but now I look forward to and have come to rely on. It's one of those unmentioned perks to growing.

7 gallon nice!! Yep I have found that from the sized plants you have and younger, I've been able to go 3 to 5 days before needing to water again. Once they hit about 2 weeks and they're looking healthy, I start to water every 2 days. From there it is just repeat repeat repeat.

Do u have a lux meter to measure light strength ? Check out posts on light. Very important. DON'T OVERWATER ! They like it dry in between waterings. Feel weight of pot till u get the hang of it.
