We have a friend that is a long time grower. He is currently trying to get into the genetics side of growing. He creates his own strains. I got a bunch of seeds from him that he has feminized himself. He has created the girl scout cookies strain. I do know that he was playing around with the genetics until he got them spot on for himself. I do know the girl scout cookies lean heavy sativa. What I noticed while I was growing them is they weren't too tall. They smell decent but the smell was not super pungent as they were growing. I'm on my second batch now. I'm wanting to see if this batch of seeds I got from him is going to have any difference between indoors and outdoors. My first run was indoors and controlled environment and my second batch I have going now I have outside. My first run that I did. I noticed at the beginning they had minor deficiencies and nutrient lock out. I did pH my water to 6.0. I only fed them compost tea and banana tea. The Grow characteristics of the girl scouts were okay. They were not big yielders. That also could have been because of the way I chose to grow them. I did decide to LST all of them to see if I can get the max yeild out of them. All in all they were pretty decent, they finished out in 100 days from seed to harvest. I did harvest them with 30%. Amber tricoms and 70% milky. I harvested two that were 70%. Amber. The buds were tall and showed characteristics of sativa indefinitely. The dried pretty well, and they've been curing for 2 months now and the smell from the bud is very very pleasant and the taste is pleasant. I would say the THC levels from my personal opinion are between 17 to 19%. They're not the most potent but they do get the job done. And for everybody that has tried, my girl scout cookies all agree that it's more of an uplifting, energetic type of high. Contradictive to the Amber tricolmes that were supposed to relax you. For some reason these are more of an uplifting on the go type of high that helps you become social. I will do another grow diary on my second run of girl scout cookies when they come in and I will compare the two. Sorry for jumbled pictures, it won't upload in order.
