Haven't ever posted a thread, have some "grow journals" on other sites but I really like using this site lately. (front end developer here and just prefer this UI) Been gardening forever, growing canna since 2013, perpetually since 2015.

So took some pics last night at the 5 weeks cycle change, let me know what you think. I should post in the growroom design section and get some setup critique at some point too. It's easy to get complacent and not maximize every harvest, so always looking to learn. Also looking to expand my strains, I have a Strawberry Fields cut and GSC too, hearing great things about those citrisy strains like sherberts, and really like the LA Confidential but never had a cut.
Without more babel here we go:

My staple Kush strain KrishnaKush from ColoradoSeedInc (in case you want to check that out) 58 days from flip
This is pheno 2 and you'll see pheno 1 in a few weeks, I cycle back and forth.

Next up Orange Blossom Fizz from darkhorse also at 58 days
She got a drip line issue over the holidays and drowned for a few weeks, not quite the usual buds and the whole stem was pretty rotten so cut her down. Would usually go to at least nine weeks but not complaining she didn't die. You see the little tops but at least they're frosty.

& always last and under appreciated BruceBanner3 by darkhorse (I'm sorry to the industry but this is a very special, and probably i'll gotten cut) this was my first plant and got me hooked though. Never disappoints, always kills it even when conditions suck and others give up and die.

How am I doing, anybody run these strains to compare? I know the fan leaves are jacked but they had a hell of a holiday week.

I'll check back from trim jail soon.

They all look yummy! I hope mine turn out even half that pretty. I've never run any of those kinds. How is trim jail?

Ha I'm out of trim jail now. Got some pretty good buds for them getting so crispy at the end there. So I'll post some pics of that flower jarred up here.

Then the next bunch is going into week 5 this week. This bunch is actually the same ones again. Krishna Kush, BruceBanner3, and Orange Blossom Fizz. They didn't get drowned this time. So they really got a move on earlier and budded faster. They are where the last batch was at week 7 from flip..these should be more normal. Still burned em with the light but theres a lot of light in there, should dim it when they start probably. I pull all the fan leaves soon anyway.

Left to right: Orange Blossom Fizz, Krishna Kush, Bruce Banner3

Left to right: a Krishna top next to Blossom top then bruce's fat head on the right.

The new ones in that tent are Orange Blossom Fizz right, and Krishna left. Guess Im really stuck in a clone rut right now but I wanted to try a few nutrient lines in a row on the same strains. Pump fails really took the air out of that, so three runs of the same... New strains in 5 more weeks. These ladies are just starting buds at like 9 days here.

Running with some pretty old basic AN three part, added some Budcandy, and Tarantula + Piranha powders(benes) at flip. Now that I see buds I will get add some Liquid Kool Bloom to the mix. Judging by the last run and stem colors I am going to keep up the cal/mag and N for a bit to see if we can keep some leaves on them past week 6 hah. Might help if I ever did anything for the low humidity. I think it helps for rot though. Maybe it could help to be higher though? This is average for winter, in summer its more like 68-78f 40-50%. I struggle with density is why I wonder...

Going to keep this thread as my on-going journal.

Ok so continuing this thread for myself here, its been about a week so flower update:

Buds are looking good on the three ladies pushing on week 7 this upcoming weekend. Tried to get a pic of each but some are blurry sorry. Theres a equally crappy video but I am really liking the way OrangeBlossomFizz is shaping up. Its frosted up with those long stemmed trichs everyone likes nowadays. The Krishna next to it is just as frosty but it doesn't look it on camera with its short tight trichs.

OBF, KK, BB3

Group Shot, yes they're yellow but I fed too light at the start and the top light is a DE with a 6ft ceiling.. so they yellowed a bit and have been steady on now.

The two getting started on the other side will be in 12 for three weeks this upcoming weekend and the budset is fully on now. Will pluck leaves and buds under the canopy on Sunday to focus her up on the good buds that are growing faster. These two are actually holdovers from the last transition and are exactly twice the veg age of the ones mid flower. Will be interesting to see what effect the double veg time has on final outcome. Usually don't have matching plants to test like that.

Krishna Kush left, Orange Blossom right

I would like to try that Banner. Wasn't it like the top 5 most potent strains in the world?

Oh hey didn't see anyone was in here, ya it most certainly was. I've only gotten it tested once, but it was 25%. I've also gotten a lot better at growing since 2016, so certainly has potential. Darkhorse got it over 30% again in a cup in 2019 too. Was one of the first over 30% in 2014 but hadn't but kinda didn't hear about it for a while when he's got Kings Banner, Hulk Smash, and Roid Rage taking it to the next level now.

I shouldn't really have real banner 3, and I feel bad seeing how that all played out with stolen cuts and $500 clone onlys, and breeder getting screwed. But I got very expensive cuts that had to be thrown out for legal reasons from a commercial grow. I brought em back from the dumpster, and have had it ever since.

haha yep, and the first few grows were all in recycled junk. Colorado, at least around Denver, I found lots of used growing gear in the trash to get me started. Still using one of those big drums of bloom nutes that I found half full. 15L is like a lifetime supply in my little space haha
