First time grow in zone 9b, lets learn from my mistakes

Wow. Thanks. I've always been too afraid. I have never planted them even up to the cotyledon, but I will be now.

When you get your lights, just pop them under that. I bought a cheap LED shop light that I use for seedlings now. I don't get enough light in my house, even in the windowsill.

Deeper may work. Definitely does for tomatoes.

I read somewhere that cannabis can be planted up to the cotyledon. Anyone know if that's true?

Oh yeah. All my cannabis seeds did the same shit. Might of started them in the same pot.

When they got bigger I plucked the little guys off and planted them with just enough room under the true leaves.

Then they turned into boys

I heard something that any vegetative growth exposes to light will grow leaves, and any in the dark will root

When they are young! You’re just not holding your mouth right when you transplant them, Cibrian!

You know what they all are?

Feminized.

Alright! Start of the blueberry x big devil!

Blueberry x Big Devil Autoflower Seeds

Despite leaning slightly towards the Indica side of the scale, there’s really no discernible ‘weight’ on either side of the experience. Good vibes, positive energy and a relaxing body stone, courtesy of an exceptionally flavorful strain that does both of her parents proud...
seedsupreme.com

Planted in 7 gallon fabric pots. Soil is a mostly even blend of chicken manure (from the store y’all don’t worry), native hollister clay soil, sifted for rocks, perlite, and coco coir.

Pots have been in the sun to get them nice and warm for germination. Gave the pots a good soak since the soil has been dry, planted the seeds, then soaked again. Got them in a shady spot on the porch.

Now I wait. Which I hate. It was a long 7 days in the mail, gonna be a long 70-90 days until weed comes

This is where we’re at today. Transplanted on saturday, so 5 days post.

They have good color in my opinion, but looking a little sad. the ones I’m assuming are sativa from leaf shape are a bit happier. Similar thing happened when I initially moved them from inside to outside, I had about a week of freaking out and they came back.

I let the soil dry a bit then gave them a decent watering today, going to try and go back to every other day now that they’re not in the green house. Sure they will perk up but I’m nervous as we get closer to flowering. Any suggestions?

Should be no problem after they get the right feeding, try also always when transplanting to water right after because of the shock, I probably would wait till flower to defoliate if you are that far along too cause you do not wanna shock the plant again. Growing in bigger pots means they need hella more water too so don’t overwater now that it’s transplanted! Throw some fish shit or great white in your water an hour before feed and they will be perked up perfect

I know people do it all the time today! But there used to be some pretty savvy heads that said never to mix two mediums! Soil is soil! And Coco is Coco! And never the twain shall meet! Aquaman used to rail against it! And he was a pretty savvy dude!

Thanks for the tip! Plants have made it alive, except for the boys that showed up.

I just bought some great white online that came in yesterday. Meant to use it in the seeds I just planted. Oops
