Yea, I don't think I'm right either lol. Everyting is a learning process but you know the saying, can't teach old dog new tricks. Lol

I cooked this batch as well. Couldn't keep temps under 107f. But clearly some plants can take heat better then others! But I'm letting it grow out. Officially week 10 of flower. Heat makes 8week flower period more like 15wks lol. I just want to see what happens and other plants not ready yet, so why not?

I did an autoflower (cherry pie) for first time to see. Like the book said, was buying out after 4 weeks. But it's going on 10wks in flower now which I understand is not characteristic of autoflower???

I know, that with a lot of plants, they will not sucessfully polinate if too hot -- tubes don't open to alow polin ro reach embryo. I tried pollinating a few buds and don't know because thoes buds just burned and died off on two plants, on plan so delayed on flowering, don't think it took at all, and another buds did developed well (just not great lol) but I don't see signs of seeds. So I'm thinking cannabis also has temp range.

It's starting to cool off and bud are developing now so I'll follow through.

Old school, you stick to what works and been cloning and growing same kush. Pleased, but have a bunch of other hybirds I have collected and want to try befor seeds get too old lol. Every seed is different though! What works for one just doesn't for another. But if I get caught up in cloning, I'll never get through growing seeds I want to try in my lifetime!

I do find it hard to resist cloning! I am cloning Durban because i have no more durban seeds and I lost last two mothers. So want to get seeds. Guess worst case I buy some more lol. But I really want to polinate these!

I love growing cannabis and experimenting. Experimenting is learning. So I don't mind F-ing things up if I learn! Just have to make sure I keep my notebooks up to date! Lol.

Well, that's how things are going with me like it matters lol. Just though I'd chime in. Happy growing All

I only learn by fuckin up it’s definitely interesting to see the difference in strains

I did a lot of rookie shit to try and kill these plants off and still have some weed in my back yard.

Holding off on cloning and breeding for now, until I sorta know what I’m doing, but hopefully in the future I’ll do some science experiments..

Morning! Little update. Wife and I have been out smelling the plants daily, shit it’s getting to the point where I’m sure all my neighbors can smell them. Decided to name them based on scents.

This one smells like candy. Straight sugar sweet. Delightful.

The infamous reveg who is continuing to get thicker and thicker. Thing reeks of a citrus grapefruity smell. I had some sour diesel once that smelled like rotten grapefruit. I’m excited to see how this comes out, especially cuz the plant is so confused

This is my last to flower, it’s catching up quick though. Thing smells like funky cheese. Like a funky sweet cheesy kush situation. I saw a pic on here of blueberry cheesecake and it could very well be related.

It’s the kind of smell I want to inhale until I throw up and keep inhaling.

And the purple. This one almost immediately lost all its big fan leaves start of september and then started with these three pronged purple ones. Super pretty. Like the embodiment of fall.

She’s got a mild sweet flavor, hoping to get some grape or berry something.

Plants are looking good. Love that you and the wifey are out smelling them, trying to pinpoint the aroma. Mine keep switching scents, feel like when they are ready for harvest, the scent will be locked in.

Thanks for the tag today.

I’m honestly surprised every time I go out there. Spent so much time and energy buying weed from strangers, when my dumbass managed to grow some decent weed.

I know I have california on my side but is it this easy? Did I get lucky? You’re gonna have some good weed too I’m sure. What’s the middle point between ohio and california? we can do a trade

Anytime, I have two friends on here, and all kinds of people already tagged @Oldchucky like they don’t know he grows outdoor

Plop your ass in this state and see how easy it is.

I'm very glad your first grow has gone so smoothly. There's no turning back now. Kind bud for years to come. You and the wifey sniff testing into your golden years. After addressing a few factors, I do think it can be as easy or as complicated as you make it, like anything else. Trying to lead the dance with mother nature always isn't going to end in your favor often.

Lmao. You never know, OldChucky may want indoors at some point. Or hell, Chucky may send you his light if he wins. I just didn't want to tag someone that had already been tagged.

I don’t even know what a tag is! Except, maybe wrasselin or graffiti! Doi! Had to take a garbage bags full of empty Miller bottles down to the recycling! 30 bucks! I don’t like to let them pile up for more than a week!

Boy she's pretty with that purple fade. I had hoped my purple kush cross would make a pretty faded leaf but not seen it. Nothing like fall colors

Early morning flashlight shots while I look for bugs. I don’t think I knew how frosty they were until I hit them with a light.

I’ll be able to smoke these in like what, november? fuck.

So far so good! You can smoke them anytime, you want! The longer you wait the more worth smoking, they will be! Nothing wrong with pulling a few cheaters off as you go! Time to figure out where you’re going to hang them and dry them! If you make it! L O L

Hahaha, I’ve eyeballed lower bits of the reveg a few times.

I actually just cleared a space in our garage. I have a couple of racks I think I can hang things on.

Also don’t know what I’m doing

I ordered another loupe. Got delivered, opened it, then immediately knew where the old one was. So I gotta return the extra but I got it!

Did my first attempt at trichome checking on the reveg plant since it’s the furthest along assumingly. I can’t tell what color tho
