Rip..start overAny tips are appreciated for new start up! Hello guys I recently just started growing almost 4 weeks ago and wondering what is wrong with this plant? I used mother earth 70/30 perlite blend. I didn’t really know what I was doing any just start a few bad roots by Clearwater genetics. Why do they look like this? I would like to try to keep it alive if possible. I’m switching to soil after I germinate these new seeds.
Pics below: I’ve done nothing but put a tiny bit of buildasoil craft blend when I started them and ph water 5.6
Do you know what happened? Or what happened to that leaf exactly? They are yellowish as well. Does it look like the ph got way to high?Rip..start over
you feed them 2 early
should of waited around 2 weeks
Hmm intriguingWe have a nice selection of well rooted clone cultivars. We offer a warranty on all our cuts. Happy to answer any questions you may have
I have a Mars hydro fc-3000Looks light bleached to me prob a bit of everything going on here to many nutes and to strong of light recipe for disaster it seems
I have a fce-4000 so for seedlings you want it at 36 inches and minimum on the dimmer. They dont need much until they grow older like a few branches. Also what soil you said mother earth.. theres different kinds was it coco ?I have a Mars hydro fc-3000
300 watts.
Do you have a recommendation what I should run the light at for starting my plants out at? I had it set a recommended for the light. I believe it’s 12-18 inches above plants at 50% so 150 watts. I definitely can see that they got too much nutrients. Waitin on some autos to get here to give it another shot

Im first time grower and I used Miracle Grows Seedling soil. I know some hate Miracle Grow but it was 2-1-2 without long term Nitrogen release. I bought Black Gold for the next grow.
I didnt feed it any nutes until I transplanted after week 2. When I transplanted I used 1/3 Fox Farm Ocean Forest and 2/3 Happy Frog soil. In between the layers I put 4 cups of worm castings I bought at Home Depot. I also top dressed with worm castings. After week 3 I top dressed Dr Earth Tomato, Veg and Herb 4-6-3. Then week 4 i used 2 cups Dr Earth Pot of Gold Liquid Organic digested food. I guess it comes from dead animals bellies when they butcher them. It was highly acidic. My tap water is 8 pH. I always pH down my water to 6.5. After mixing 1/4 to 1 gallon the pH was still 3.3. It took 32ml of pH Down to bring it to 6.6pH. I gave the 2 autos 1 cup each and they got really green. Close to Nitro tox but they are ok and preflowering like crazy now in week 4. They are White Widows.
I wont feed them for a bit now. The 2 photo Super Skunks loved the nutes. They sucked them right up and got nice and green but no toxicities showing. They gave me no shock during transplant or when I topped them. I topped the one a few days ago and FIMd the other this morning. The smell is amazing. I am trying a small hydro grow of Purple Kush I got coming from ILGM after this harvest. But man this Super Skunk genetics are amazing.
The runt in the 3rd pic had a deformed cotyledon. It was stunted. I decieded since it was a living thing I would give it a chance. It lived up to my expectations and is now is taller than the super skunks. Its showing Sativa dominance. Its a White Widow autoflower. It is the one that is preflowering like crazy. Never underestimate a runt.
Yeah they done u can try but start over. get some potting soil use that at first. Then get urself some living soil all u gotta do is water.Any tips are appreciated for new start up!
