thank you for the kind words & with a little patience yours will be too my 3x3 tent is a single plant grow the strain is from 3-thirteen seeds its gg#4-×-peanut butter breath the 4x4 with the 6 plants is under the vipar spectra light I hacked it's now 480w. of cob led people bad mouth the vipar spectra but mine got the job done I've had 4 leds so far lol the newer mars hydro lights that are similar to quantum boards look good too my growmie has the spider farmer 4000 & it performs good for a 3x3 I would suggest 300-to 350 w.

So I ordered the Spider Farmer sf2000 not too long ago, set to arrive in a week. Once it’s here, I’ll throw it in the tent along side the viparspectra. What should I set the dimmable dial to? I was thinking of starting it around 30% @ 24” above the canopy. The vipar is currently @ 24”.

that should work start at a conservative rate I have a California light works as 275 its actually 200w. I've done complete grows in one of my 3x3 tents but don't get the yield that my 340w. cob does you could run the vipar until you flip as well & add the SF when you flip so many ways to do this lol

Alright, I’ll try some different setups. Not really to worried about this.

Hey Y'all,
Time for an Update on the 3x3!
This week has had its ups & downs. As for the ups, my two Chemdog plants are booming! I'm very pleased w/their growth @ 4 weeks from sprout. They started LST on 9/9. Haven't fed them any nutrients, just filtered tap water pH'ed to 6.56 @ 139 PPM. As for my OG seedlings. . . .They seem to be struggling. Not too long after increasing my light intensity to 100% @ 24", I noticed the seedling's growth had slowed, any new growth was dark green & its first set of serrated leaves started to yellow. This was definitely TOO much light for these guys. Pair my ignorance w/California's recent heatwave, & maybe a tad bit of underwatering. . . and BAM! Hits ya plants square in the cotyledons.

Tent Temps this past week have avg. 84.9F w/a High of 101.7F & Low of 69.6F. . . RH has been 54-75%. I have changed the light height & intensity around trying to figure out what works w/the plants. For now, I've settled on 70% intensity @ 29" above the larger plants, 34" for the seedlings. I've been on top of waterings for the seedlings, twice a day now. I thought I could get away w/misting the topsoil once a day but w/the increased light & temps, those babies were hurting.

I included a picture of the plants BEFORE they had LST. I also ordered a Spider Farmer SF2000! Should arrive w/in the next month, hopefully before flower time. Excited! :)

Alright, getting further along seeing some great results!

The Chemdog is 5 weeks old since sprout and just thriving. As for the OGs. . ., .they were given the chop. Was showing signs of underwatering & light damage. I didn't want to wait the 3-4 extra weeks to VEG it out to a decent size. By that time the Chemdog would have been monstrous & the canopy would have been difficult to manage. So here I am, left w/Two plants in a 3x3. Temps have been 77.8-87.1F w/an AVG of 81.5F. RH has been 55%-75%. Plants have been watered twice w/filtered tap water pH'ed to 6.5 @ 135PPM.

I'm currently running both lights, Viperspectra(VS) & Spiderfarmer(SF). The VS is @ 70% VEG 0% Bloom intensity, & SF is @ 30%. Both lights are at about 24in above the canopy.

This has been a good week for the most part.
Did a bit of rearranging in the tent since there are only two plants now. Took out the 2nd shelving rack & also put up the scorg. I have it positioned about 5in above the canopy. I want to send these plants into flower on Oct. 11th. Should I let the plants grow into the scrog or should I have the net right on them and add a second one later when the plants start budding up?

Some info on the week
Temps (Fahrenheight) : 81.9 / 93.2 / 68.7 , ( AVG / High / Low )
RH (%) : 58.1 / 79.9 / 39.3 , ( AVG / High / Low )
Plants have been watered twice, 9 / 21 & 9 / 24, w/filtered tap water pH'ed to 6.43-6.46 @ 28-135PPM. I had to use distilled water on the most recent feed as my water filter needs to changed
I took a pH/EC measure of the runoff; the runoff was around 6.29-6.33 @ 230-270PPM (EC of 0.46-0.54)
The lights are resting @ 24in above the canopy. I have the Spider Farmer @ 40% intensity & the viparspectra @ 80% VEG & 30% BLOOM

I believe one of my plants may be dealing w/overwatering issues. Gunna have to keep an eye on it.

You may have trouble with light if it is not a 2 cycle, i have a 600w viperspecta reflector series 2 cycle 600w and am not shure if your light is just full spec or a 2 cycle for bloom, i hope you can change your cycle to bloom so you can flower your girls.

It’s a full spectrum LED. When flower comes along, I’ll crank the BLOOM up To 100%

Hey All!
I'm just starting my first grow & beyond excited. I’ve been wanting to grow for a while & finally the stars aligned. A quick rundown of the setup & equipment i'm running for this grow:
3 x 3 x 6 Vivosun Tent
4” AC Infinity Fan (Exhaust) w/13” Carbon Filter
4” Vivosun 100CFM Fan(Intake)
VIparspectra TC600(260W) LED
14” blade fan
6” clip-on fans x2
Humidifier & Dehumidifier
Exhale CO2 Bag

In terms of growing medium & nutrients:
Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil (FFOF)
Fox Farm Trio
CALMAG
Organic Molasses

For seeds, I’ve got 2 Chemdawg by Claybourne CO. & 2 OG seeds I got from a friend.
I put the Chemdawg seeds in cup w/tap water on Sept. 12th where they stayed for 16 hours. Once they sank, I transferred them to a paper towel where they continued to wait in the dark for 24 more hours. After the taproot sprouted, I put them in solos filled w/FFOF & covered the cup w/ziplock bags to keep humidity lvls up. They broke the surface on the 15th. The OG seeds were germinated using the same methods however they were started on the 22nd & broke the surface on the 25th. I started w/3 OG seeds but one didn’t sprout.

Once breaking the surface, the ziplock bag was removed. The seeds have been misted w/a water bottle. I’m using filtered tap water pH’ed to 6.5-6.6. I’ve managed to keep the average temps between 75-85 & RH 50-80%. The plants are on a 18/6 light cycle w/ the LEDs 22” above the canopy @ 65% intensity. The plants haven’t been fed any nutrients, just filtered pH’ed water.

The chemdawg seeds grew faster than I expected as their roots had already started to fill out the bottom of the solos @ 15 days from breaking the surface. They were transferred to 3G fabric pots w/FFOF on the 30th. One thing I noticed as things progressed was a buildup of mineral deposits throughout the tent, i.e. fan blades, carbon filter cover, plant leaves. I ended up not using filtered tap water for the humidifier & switched to distilled water. Hopefully it saves my carbon filter cover from clogging up every week.

I plan on adding another light within the next few weeks.I’m thinking about getting a spider farmer sf200. I figured since i’m running CO2 I might as well take advantage of it. What do y’all think? Any questions or comments? All is Welcome!

Thanks! :)

Kiss method. Keep it simple stupid. We all get excoted when we start a new project. Take a breath. People will find evidence that what they are selling in key. Plants are like any creature, comfortable environment, but the odd bad day makes them stronger, eating less is healthier than eating to much and fresh air. CO2 does nothing for quality, just speed of growth

Think you are going to find your exhaust to small
I ended up getting a 6 inch fan for my 3x3
when plants filled out in flower with Lights up
my rh and temps were to high and I didn’t use a filter

i use 6in ac exhaust and my 4 as intake

Hey Everyone,
It's been a minute since I updated last. This past week has been a crazy one! My house got fumigated from Oct 2-5, so I had to make a few accommodations. Because the house was tented up, I had to unplug all of the cords that were connected to the outside outlets, i.e. my grow tent. In an attempt to save my girls, I purchased a generator to power the trailer and grow tent. For the most part, it was a success.

Due to the runtime of the generator being 14.5H, I had to decrease the lights on from 18 to 15H in 1H increments starting on Sept 29. I did this in hopes of not shocking the plants and forcing it into flower early. I do plan to flip these plants into flower on Oct 10th so it's not too far away.

Some weekly data 9/ 26 - 10 /2:
Temps (Fahrenheit): 85.3 / 98.2 / 69.1 ( AVG / High / Low )
RH (%) : 59.9 / 85.4 / 35.6 , ( AVG / High / Low )
Plants were watered three times this week, which is a bit much after looking back. They got their first nutrients on 9 /26 w/pH 6.58 @501PPM, then a plain watering on 9 / 28. I took a runoff after the plain watering and got a pH of 6.29-6.35 @ 365-371PPM. Quite a bit low for being 7 weeks into veg. The plants got another nutrient feeding on 10 / 1 of pH 6.56 @ 337PPM.
Right now, I'm feeding them Fox Farm Grow Big %, Big Bloom.
Viparspectra light intensity has been increased to 100% Veg & 35% Bloom while the Spider Farmer is @ about 70%. Both lights are about 22" above the canopy.

I'm still seeing some signs of nutrient deficiencies as some lower leaves are yellowing and have brown spots.

Alright everyone,
Back for another Weekly Update.

This has been a better week for the plants. Outside temps are slowly cooling down from 90F(32C) so environmental control has increased slightly. I purchased the Inkbird Humidity controller, model IHC200, as my Taotronics humidifier wasn't cutting it. I had high hopes for Taotronics as it came w/a built-in hygrometer to help climate control. To my knowledge, the hygrometer was off by an average of 15% and sometimes up to 30% below the actual RH. I figured if I purchased a humidity controller, it could help decrease the range of RH fluctuation. After setting up and plugging in my humidifier, everything ran perfectly for about 30 minutes. Once the RH hits the desired range, the controller cut the power to the humidifier, as it should. I assumed it would turn it back on once the RH fell too low. Unfortunately, the humidifier didn't kick on when it should've. Long story short, this model humidifier isn't compatible w/an external controller & I had to purchase another humidifier. Since then, RH has been much more stable w/less fluctuation.

Data for the Week: 10/10 - 10/16

Temps (Fahrenheit): 83.1 / 97.2 / 63.7 ( AVG / High / Low )
RH (%) : 59.4 / 74.9 / 34.6 ( AVG / High / Low )

Waterings:
Plants were watered three times this week, 10/10 10/13 10/15, w/ 10/10 being the nutrient feed

10/10: Filtered tap water pH'ed to 6.55 @ 628PPM
Big Bloom ~ 3mL/4L
Grow Big ~ 2mL/4L
Tiger Bloom ~ 2mL/4L
CALMAG ~ 2.5mL/4L

10/13: Filtered tap water pH'ed 6.51
I collected a small amount of runoff:
Left plant pH 5.93 @ 2706PPM
Right Plant pH 6.43 @ 2709PPM
I thought these PPM levels were higher than usual so I took the precaution of not giving nutrients on their next feeding. This was a mistake as the initial PPM measurements were incorrect. I had left the runoff from previous waterings in the drip tray and I assume it had dried up leaving the remaining minerals behind. This must-have caused a higher than unusual PPM reading.

10/15: Filtered tap water pH'ed 6.36
CALMAG ~2mL/3.5L

The plants just finished up their first week of flower! I believe I have one confirmed female! Still waiting for the other plant to show some signs.

Hey everyone, back with another weekly update!
The girls just finished week 2 of flower and they are getting big! I'd say they grown about 4" since the start of flower. I haven't done much defoliation since flipping to 12/12. I will do a significant amount of defoliation after week 3 of flower.

Data for the Week: 10/17 - 10/23

Temps (Fahrenheit): 80.9 / 93.7 / 64.6 ( AVG / High / Low )
RH (%) : 56.0 / 68.0 / 36.1 ( AVG / High / Low )

Waterings:

Plants were watered four times this week: 10/17 , 10/19 , 10/21 , 10/23

10/17: Water pH'ed to 6.24 @ 951PPM
Big Bloom: ~7.5mL
Grow Big: ~ 5mL
Tiger Bloom: ~5mL

10/19: Water pH'ed to 6.42
Runoff: Left plant pH 5.98 @ 653PPM
Right Plant pH 6.05 @ 629 PPM

10/21: Water pH'ed to 6.34 @ 929PPM
Big Bloom: ~7.5mL
Grow Big: ~5mL
Tiger Bloom: ~5mL

10/23: Water pHed to 6.56
Runoff: Left plant pH 6.11 @ 942PPM
Right Plant pH 6.12 @ 774PPM

Hey everyone!
Coming back from a much-needed vacation!
After coming back, I was delighted to see my girls budding up! I also gave them a heavy defoliation.

Data for the Week: 10/24 - 11/06

Temps (Fahrenheit): 80.3 / 92.5 / 61.6 ( AVG / High / Low )
RH (%) : 54.0 / 68.0 / 37.0 ( AVG / High / Low )

Waterings: 10/25 , 10/27 , 10/29 , 10/31 , 11/02 , 11/04 , 11/06

Four of the waterings have been nutrient feed w/ average PPM levels ~850PPM & the following nutrients:
Big Bloom: ~15mL
Big Grow: ~10mL
Tiger Bloom: ~10mL

Plant runoff has been averaging a pH of 6.05 @ 905PPM. . . quite a bit lower than I've been wanting so I may increase the concentration of nutrients within the solution. Even with lower-than-ideal PPM levels, the plants seem to be doing alright.
