How many days ago did you start germinating?
Did you soak or use paper towel method to germinate the seed and then plant when you had a tap root or did you plant the seed directly and then dig it up to look?

The part of the tap root you say is purple, is it at the tip or is the tip still white?

Has the plant sprouted and showing cotyledons yet?

I don't personally use humidity domes once the seeds in the soil, I just spray the surface.
I understand using the dome before it sprouts and if you haven't already, poke some holes in your dome for air flow or place something under 1 of the edges so it tips an edge up for air to get in.

I wouldn't personally use the dome at all after it sprouts, especially if you're a new grower because of the risk of over watering, the dome is not a good combination with over watering I

Helloooo , I am using 40% Mother Earth soil and 60 happy frog . I haven’t given it any nutrients yet .
