First time grower, is this male?

Hey guys,
First time grower here, my buddy has said he thinks these are balls on my pink Kush plant, but I didn’t think white hairs grew on males.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think your friend is tripping, unless you see male preflowers then you're in trouble, I can post some photos to compare.edit: those look like part of the female preflower, not a male preflower

nvm i cant find my gardening camera but if has flowers like this in addition to female flowers like in this image i found then its a hermie

Thank you guys, first time so still learning.
The middle plant is the one in the picture and the bigger one has the white hairs but they are coming right out of the stalk and not out of the ball looking things.

Looking good. Those containers are way smaller than I would use outside but they seem to not mind it currently

I just moved the big one out of those square planter into a 16” and moved all the small ones from there 6” starters to where they are now.
Probably going to put the big one in a 20” and the smaller ones to 16” in a few weeks.
The small ones really sprouted when I moved them out of the 6” planters.

Still trying to figure out planter sizes
