Hey everyone I’m new to the growing community and have a few questions. I bought a AC Infinity 2x4 grow tent. I’m going with autoflower strains for fast growing. I recently planted 2 plants. I just went seed directly in soil without germination first. Both plants sprouted in 3 days. This pic is at 7 days old now. My question is…. How does my baby look at 7 days?

Looks absolutely fine,

Most people tend to kill their first plants with love, less is more

The first 2 leaves u see and the soil should have enough food in them to feed for the first 2 weeks,

When u see them 2 leaves start to turn yellow start to implement your feeding schedule,

Encourage proper dry backs nd let the roots go searching for water during these first few weeks to establish a solid root system for when you do start to feed,

I’m not the keen on soil so I’ll leave it to the rest, but keep the environment right nd the girls will love it

Yep. It looks good. Autoflower plants are aggressive growers and like a lot of light. I'm not saying to increase the light intensity now. It's just something to consider.

I see you're doing bottom watering. I don't use that method, but, AFAIK, you might want to top water for a while. Someone who does bottom water/feed can help more than I can.

It’s very tough to get the watering right when u have a tiny plant in such a large pot…..although I know why u did it with the auto.
That said, watering is also the biggest problem among all grows. I’ve grown for years and always started my seedlings in a very small pot. Maybe someone can give U some tips on a good method to use in this situation.
One thing to remember is the roots need oxygen and too much water and /or a compacted medium will deprive them of it.
They thrive in warm, moist and fluffy.
Autos aren’t forgiving so that first 2-3 weeks is crucial….and if u don’t get it right, you’ll end up with a tiny plant that starts flowering. I think they are much more difficult than photos.
Sorry to ramble and good luck. So far so good.
