Hi guys, I'm a first time grower and I'm also new to this community. I started growing cannabis only since June this year and currently on day 25 of flower. My girls seem to be happy but that's just from my unexperienced view. So I started this thread hopefully to get some experienced grower to see if I'm doing well and how much yield can I expect in harvest. Sorry in advance for my English.
My specs are:
- Tent: 1 x 1 (meter) Mars Hydro tent. I am not filling out the tent as I know that 240w is inadequate, and I want to have some space to lean in better.
- Medium: Hydroponic set up with pots of clay pellet. Using one aquarium pump to drip water down from the pots, and one "mildly" high pressure pump to mist the root zone from below the bucket every few hours. This way if one of the pump die, I will have more time to change it.
- Nutes: I use Flora Duo from General Hydroponic. At each feeding I only use from 30% to 50% of the corresponding suggested dosage.
- Res: My res temp is about -2 degree from the room temp, changed res every week or two, no O2 added.
- Environment:
○ Light: One Kingbrite 240w - 4000k (I should have bought the 3500k), dimmed to 60% currently, will turn it up to 100% in time. Currently about 50cm from the canopy.
○ Temp: ranging from 30 to 35 degree Celsius during day, and 23 to 25 during night. That's as low as I can manage since electricity bill can raise issue here.
○ Rh: Around 60% at 30 degree C during day (when I am away from home), and around 50% at 25 degree C at night. I turn AC on when I am home so that also helped with Rh and temp.
○ Air: One small oscillating fan, one big fan out side, kept the door open during day, no exhaust fan as I am currently out of the budget. Maybe I will buy one cheap inline fan when the smell gets overwhelming, right now no smell. I have not measured CO2 level but I think it's pretty much standard since I kept the grow tent on the first floor, and my house is well ventilated.
- Grow technique: I mix the SOG and ScrOG methods together, where I run 12 clones in two large buckets, the clones were let grown naturally, I only did some LST here and there. Each clone produce about 5-8 tops in total, but only 1-2 tops reach higher than the second trellis net.
My plants: 12 clones were taken from two mothers, one of the mother is Amnesia Haze, the other is from bag seed. I am not even sure if the first mother is actually Amnesia Haze, as I bought seed from unknown seller (it's illegal where I live so getting quality seed can be a big hassle). And I only veg the mother in coco until she is big enough for clones, I… killed the mothers during cloning. So this grow is actually my first-and-a-half grow.
from my set up and the current bud formation, can I get an estimation of the yield? I will definitely update on my actual yield maybe two months from now.
