Okay cool that’s what I was thinking but I wasn’t sure. They were pretty dry before I transplanted them because I was away from home for 3 days so they were both bone dry when I got back. I watered them til runoff in their solo cups and transplanted them 6+ hours later. That’s why I want sure if they still were thirsty or not. Thanks for the reply!!Just a little transplant shock. They should be just fine.
Okay sounds good! The gelato plant also looks kinda crispy and is tacoing its leaves a little. What do you think that might be from? I did have the fan kind of directly on it…I suggest plenty of indirect airflow and let them dry out . They look plenty wet.

Are the top leaves tacoing or all of them? What i have noticed with my girls is when my tents are too hot or my light intensity is too high they will do this. If your mid to lower leaves are doing it then it could be, i hate saying this lol, a mag deficiency.Okay sounds good! The gelato plant also looks kinda crispy and is tacoing its leaves a little. My .02 your plants look good. I say let them recover from transplant and grow some roots.Okay sounds good! The gelato plant also looks kinda crispy and is tacoing its leaves a little. What do you think that might be from? I did have the fan kind of directly on it…

This is a horrible pic but it’s mostly just the big middle two on the second node. I think they seems too be less taco’d now cuz I feel like before I gave them more water today and yesterday all the mid to new growth was tacoing and now just a a couple leaves.
Okay so that’s what I’m struggling with… So I’m using my HLG 100 rspec and it has a dimmer but it doesn’t tell you any percentages or anything you just have to eyeball it. They were at around 18” above the tallest plant with a DLI of 30. I raised them to 20” and the DLI is around 20 on average. What’s your Power setting on your light and the distance from the plants?
Also which light do you think is better? HLG 100 rspec or the Spider farmer SF 1000 301h evo? I recently bought that one cough (on Xanax)….What’s your Power setting on your light and the distance from the plants?

Okay I’ll switch to the sf1000 cuz it has a dimmer that actually has markings and percentages. I read that the sf 1000 evo actually has 218 LM301H leds and the hlg only has 172 LM301H but it also has 4 LM351H which are deep red I guess. So you’d think more is better but idkI don’t use DLI, don’t know how to guage that.
I would aim for about 25-30% power about 30” from the plants and checkout how the plants respond.
Both those lights appear to be capable. Later in veg/flower you may consider running both
More is better during flower...not on a fresh transplant.Okay I’ll switch to the sf1000 cuz it has a dimmer that actually has markings and percentages. All the diode numbers and letters and how everything changes from this month to nextOkay I’ll switch to the sf1000 cuz it has a dimmer that actually has markings and percentages. I was gonna say something...but Capt might be on to something there, I'll have to get one of those and compare it to my apogee. All the diode numbers and letters and how everything changes from this month to next
I do measure Ppfd . I use this tool and aim for these numbers.
0-250 seedlings
250-750 veg
Up to 1000 is best is I can do in my environment without getting too hot.
Learned most of this from Capt

I use these Photone charts as my lighting guide and then observe the leaves to make sure I’m not pushing too hard.Okay so that’s what I’m struggling with… So I’m using my HLG 100 rspec and it has a dimmer but it doesn’t tell you any percentages or anything you just have to eyeball it. Yeah I’ve seen that DLI chart and I was shooting for that but I thought the light was too bright because of the crispyness and tacoing. However I think it might have been because of direct airflow from the fan.I use these Photone charts as my lighting guide and then observe the leaves to make sure I’m not pushing too hard.
