Im very happy with my first plant but the curled leaves worry me. Is this part of the flowering stage or is it a sign of distress? I supported the branches to try low impact training. Was that correct? Please provide suggestions. Thanks

Im in a very hot environment. 90 degrees every day. High humidity.

I deal with high temp and humidity sometimes they need a break and some shade if it gets full sun and I don’t remove leave those provide shade for the root zone and power for the plant

They have to be really healthy or it’s hard on them

what have you been feeding them, curled leaves like that looks to me like over feeding, or build up of salts...i have a lot of experience

Looks like corn stalks, when it's hot n dry

It's the combination of the heat and the light that takes its toll. I don't have the humidity to deal with but it's typical that my plants will get hit with consecutive 100+° days at least once through the grow, and taking the PPFD levels down by putting them under a shade cloth goes a long way in keeping them from collapsing. That high humidity with the heat is probably a problem for bud rot too. An outdoor fan running overnight gently hitting the plant might help but I don't know if anybody does this. Your best bet is going to be to stick with sativas and tropical landraces that have some natural tolerance to the environment.

I've been feeding every 2 weeks with a water soluble fertilizer.
