This things like a bush to be honest hahaha. I’m gunna try to get till Christmas and then bloom the lady. I’m not sure if I will too anymore, I might just let her gain some height. I was thinking of putting the fan under the canopy aiming upward to maybe help.

Currently though I’m hoping giving the middle growth space will help the centre grow taller again off the two shoots. The side shoots I’m going to strap down. Aiming for a short bush! :)

Feel free to post some pics and such! And good luck with your grow

Short is very good indoor if you use good soil then adequate nutes You’ll never deal with insufficiency issues. My experience. It sucks cutting half the plant away. Get used to it lol. Great time for clones. When you see 15 tops getting fat you’ll be happy. I hope you do well

The two shoots in the middle are growing back nicely. I moved the ties I had put down slightly more towards their respective direction. The stems coming off the fan leaves under the canopy have broken through and are now growing vertically. 7 weeks of veg to go. Super pumped!

I’ve tucked some of the larger fan leaves under the new shoot growth. I’m hoping this will boost some of the growth on the tips that are breaking through the canopy! Fingers crossed

Tied down a couple of the other stems a few days ago. Trying to keep the growth from under the canopy from smothering the centre growth coming from the topped end. Slowly pinching the wires every two days ish to try to get the stems horizontal somewhat, past the fan leaves. Aiming for a bush!
I increased the amount of water im using since it seems to be bone dry after 3 days! Was using a litre and a quarter, going up to 2 litres to see if it’s possible to water and have it feel well fed. Here are some updated pics! :)

Remember: Older leafs perform less work. That is why chopping lower leafs can be beneficial. Also, when you prune, you redirect sugars to new growth and assist nearby growth of the leafs you cut. If older leafs are shaded, cut them off. The only thing you do is halt the plant for a few days to recover from the cuts. But if time is not an object, don’t feel bad cutting them off if they are getting no light and stealing sugars. You Will get closer node grouping by pruning. You stop upward growth and redirect sugars to recover and so your node grouping is tighter and nearby new growth increases. And you want the new nearby growth to be increased, which pruning shaded leafs will achieve that. Making for a bigger plant faster. Just don’t steal her solar panels doing work. Force the sugars to new growth and prune them big suckers at the bottom off.

If a leaf is drooping below the pot, cut it off!

Looks like she’s showing her sex I can just about see it but she is

Watering Every 2-3 days in veg is fine when your in flower that will change to about every 4 days as they drink less during flowering.

Good luck

Don’t forget to give her 3 days minimum between prunes.

You guys think I should prune the bottom two fan leaves? They dip below the pot, and are somewhat shaded. The growth attached to it has already broken the canopy, so it should be fine I’m assuming.

I’ll probably take a few smaller leaves off that are shaded under the canopy. I will for sure be lollipoppin cause my grow light is only 600w, and 12x12. I’ll post pics again in a few days to show the difference

600w on one plant that’s way more than enough you may even want to dim it. None of my leds ever go above 75%

Topping and defoliation isn’t my game others here will help you more on that route.

I will squeeze this info in there! To reduce stress when pruning, make sure you do not snip the calyx or the sex organ (the single blade). Avoid that and only go for the stem. Herm can happen so much easier if you are lobbing off those parts too. I would take a topped main stem and cut it off before I cut my calyx’s or sex organs.

What I mean is, the stress would be less to take a main topped stem.

Took the bottom 4 fan leaves off! They had great growths already off them and fat bases. The fan leaves were resting on the pot, so I figured it made sense to prune them. Feed tomorrow should help give them a boost. The fan leaves above this are even bigger hahaha

Tucking seems to have helped abit. I took some of the smaller leaves that were dying off from the inside of the bush, and tucked the top two growths back. Feed time tomorrow, so she should be doing well.

Some of the top new leaves are growing a little weird, but I’m assuming it’s because of the clutter on top.

I rarely ever water in veg, flower is like clock work if I don't keep up they wilt after a few days. Depends on a million factors how often you need to water, you need to read the plant not be on a watering schedule.

That’s so true.
environment plays a big part of it if I be honest I don’t schedule waterings either.
Atm I hardly look in on mine as there in flower and I only need water and feed them.

It is nice to see them though

This is my first plant ever, including house plants and such. Lots of YouTube videos and one of the most forgiving plants has helped a lot hahaha.
I’ve been doing a water every 3ish days, then the pot feel light when I pick it up. Every other feed I use Nutrient so far, but if it picks up, I’ll have to kinda play it as is. I’m using this stuff and it’s been great. I put cal mag in with the nutrient feed. Otherwise I use regular water for the water.
