First Time Hempy Bucket With Coco

So here's the deal , I'm a long time organic farmer. Lately I've had an itch to try something different :)
I really like the simple nature of the hempy bucket. I've decided to go with 5 gallon buckets with a 2" reservoir bottom. I will go straight perlite in the bottom and Ugro pure max air coco which is a 70% coco 30% perilite mix.
I'm going to be shooting for a 3-1-2 npk ratio from start to end of stretch. Then switching to a 2-1-2 till flush.
Nutes are this ........
GH micro
GH bloom
Botanicare cal/mag plus
Liquid cool bloom
Epsom salts
Green planet root inoculant
That's it that's all
This grow will not start for a little while as I am in the middle of getting a much bigger house with way more grow space !!!! :) :) :) :) :)
So I have time for discussion and education. I'm new to coco , hempys and hydro nutes so any help would be greatly appreciated.
My lighting will be 1 × 600 watt solistek ballast wirh a 8" silverstar sealed hood. Bulbs I haven't bought yet so open to suggestions. Although I'd been leaning towards solistek bulbs as well ??
I want to do a simple cheap gro so dont recommend a bunch of additives and boosters please . I want to let good genetics do what they do best ......

Hey man, don't use a five gallon for coco unless your growing trees. 2 gallon is plenty fine for a hempy bucket.
If you want automation just do coco dtw

I am planning on growing quite large plants and just already had the 5 gallon buckets kicking around. So would you recommend just not filling then to the top then ?

You can easily grow some 1/2lbers in 2 gallons of coco as long as it has water.
Yeah just don't fill them up or I guess you could cut them down.

Ya I like that idea , less coco needed which saves me money !!!

Unknown strain , only had one seed and this is it. Frosty as hell !!!!!!
Gonna re-veg the lower growth on her
If this is what she looks like outdoors can't wait to see her under the lights !!
Seed stock is over 20 years old so who knows what it is ???

My alien dawn kush and pineapple kush outdoor in 10 gallon pot with super soil. Tricomes are almost all milky just waiting for a light speckle of amber and it chop time.

Chopped a one side branch top off the alien dawn kush (right) & pineapple kush (purple & left )
Super dense flowers and very mold and frost resistant. Could be the super soil that is teaming with life helps.

This is my madame blueberry mom. She comes from a late 80's dj short blueberry seed stock. She is a super frosty blueberry muffin machine and I will be growing her cuts in a coco hempy this run as well.

Stay away! It's called white baneberry or (dolls eyes) it can kill you if you do a taste test lol. "The berries contain cardiogenic toxins that can have an immediate sedative effect on cardiac muscle tissue. Ingestion of the berries can lead to cardiac arrest and death."

So great news ......the liberal party won a majority in the federal election yesterday! !!!!
What does this mean ?????
Legalize weed across Canada is what it means !! It's one of their first things they are passing once officially in power.
Next bit of good news , a friend of mine who runs an extremely large legal warehouse grow. Has given me 23 litre jugs of Cana aqua grow and bloom base nutes !!! He also gave me a 10 litre jug of Dr hornbys medi one !!! I'm saving the medione for next year's outdoor but the canna I'm going to run in my hempys.
Herein lies the issue I was planning on going with cocoa and perilite but now with having hydro specific nutrients should I just go with perilite, vermiculite and some calcined diatomacious earth for my hempy medium Or stick with the coco and just add some calmag to the equation ? Also wondering if I should pu the pk13/14 , cannazym, etc ?
Money is an issue and my bro who gave me nutes said just use the base nutes , some calmag a little florablend and bennies for flavor ?
I have a 4 litre jug of florablend and green planet bennies already.
How are the canna nutes ?

Well its been awhile since my last update and I have moved into my new home and a temporary room has been set up. I have my reveg madame blueberry who I will be taking a clone mom from and flowering off. Also picked up a couple cuts from a bro. One is his tga pennywise pheno #8 and his og which was brought back from bc and we affectionately call tydro. I'm just out walking my dogs and will have pictures tonight when lights come on. Here's the reveg madame blueberry. She is gonna be a beast.
I have decided to run a gas light technique lighting schedule. So far I can't tell the difference in speed of growth etc. So for veg it's 12 hours on , 5.5 off , 1 on , 5.5 off .
