@Moto my lil organic section of the world, up until a month or so before joining here i never real read into organics or nutes, i just used what was available. I was a poor kid so the bottled stuff seemed like a million bucks at the time. I make my own lil compost pile with leftover veggies an scraps cooked an uncooked, early season grass clippings, weeds, leafs, coffee grinds, used soil, and dr earth compost starter. i mix that in with cow crap an straw an form long mounded rows. I cant tell u what made me mound other than i thought it looked cleaner. idk, silly i guess. I water for ten minutes a day unless it has rained, again this is just what works for me, the water is collected rain water/normal rain. I put in underground sprinklin as a lil project, attached my two gutter downspouts to my ibc totes an cobbled it to where i ran my buried sprinkler lines. The grass an plants have all really responded well this year. We have well water but i just saw all the water pourin out of my downspout one day an a session of google an youtube an it was on. The black fabric on the one row was a test this season to see how plants would fair and it will cut down on weeding. SOOOOO since you asked so nicely for a blow up of pics. This my lil organic section of the world........... say what you will im here to learn an take nothin personal..... i was gonna label each pic but its a pain in the ass.

Great points and thanks for sharing.. I love your garden.. :)

I would recommend you look into "Teaming with Microbes" Great Book :) if you would like to continue expanding your knowledge into soil life etc.. It helps break down what fungi/bacteria does and there benefits etc.. While also allowing you to learn on why some plant issues happen from imbalances in your soil food web. :)

Your Garden looks great.. Good point on keeping them nice and cool and watered in the summer.. Next year I will be doing some vegetable gardens in ground. :) I will keep you updated with pictures too.. :D

Keep up the good work and love seeing other peoples food gardens.. :D

your 4 plants in a row that almost look like cabbage are sweet peppers right? I have 20 sweet peppers that look just like yours. They do not look like any sweet peppers I have seen before . But those look just like mine. Are they sweet peppers? Last year I planted Brussels sprouts and got egg plants instead. I am wondering if the same thing happened this year. But what ever those 4 plants are ,they are just like mine. Just wondering. lol
