First Time Using A Net

I ended up vegging for about 10 days longer then normal and have gotten about a foot taller then normal and very bushy. I usually tie up to bamboo and then use twine to tie up heavy branches later in bud. I did a lot of tieing down during veg. so I have a lot of undergrowth. I was thinking I might should clean out all the lower growth and put a net over the top pulling them down just a bit and train it through the net throughout the stretch. Or should I keep staking and tieing down. I have never used a net so I’m not sure if I have waited to late to use it right.

Nets are very simple to use. It took me 30 mins to put in 25 hooks. Then 5 mins to throw up a net, 5 more mins putting the colas thru the holes. I won' stake any longer. I save lots of time with a net.

Do you remove most of the undergrowth? Or just what is in the way. I’m only 3 days into flower.

Remove everything under the net for more growth directed up top where the light is. Full on lollipop

Yes. If it's below the net, get rid of it. They'll double in size when you flip to flower anyways. I'm running blue dream and have them lollipopped quite a bit above the net as well

Here' my veg room as of tonight. 9 days to flip. I'e topped about 4x, I'll continue to super rop to keep canopy level as can be.

I have separate veg and flower rooms. I only put my net up about week 1 to week 2 from flip.

5x10 tent
2x 315
4x 4bulb t8 6500k on sides
About a 4 week veg I'm guessing.

I do all my cleaning by end of week 2.5. I let the plant drop any leaves after that time.

So I got my net on. I was able to pull the canopy down a few inches. I trimmed a ton of lower garbage that was just in the way. I didn’t go full lollipop but as I was watering afterward I could see a lot more that can come off and where some will be growing through soon.
