First-timer, Gettin' My Grow Awnnn

Hi all! Having been liberated by new state laws, I decided to run an indoor setup using CFL lighting, Edna's Best Potting Soil (E.B. Stone Organics) and (2) clones obtained from a friend (Sour OG and Blue Widow). Wish me luck!

Here are a few pics of the setup I put up last night:

8x 6500k CFLs raised for viewing:

My Sour OG clone:

My Blue Widow, doing fairly well:

Lights down, plants settled in for a 24/7 light bath for the next 6 weeks or so:

I've asked in a couple other places, but might as well give 'er a shot in my grow thread :) :::
Is there a good rule of thumb guide or any readily available info on a watering feeding schedule?
I want to get together a roadmap of sorts for these gals.

Thanks! - DHD

Love the creativity with those light reflector's.

If I were you I would get them to slide a little further over the bulbs if possible. This would catch the side light of the bulbs focusing it downwards.

Then you could cut the 4 corners where the sides meet. And adjust the angle of the 4 sides to "Tune" your light spread.

Yeah I actually cut the holes a bit too big; I'll fiddle with it later to see what I can do. Thanks for the advice. DHD

DAY 4: Watering day! My first water since planting them.
1.5L tap water per plant. No nutes yet. Thinking of picking up the GO Box from General Organics to start in about a week.

Starting to see some discoloration on my Sour OG.
The tips of the Blue Widow were showing some problems when I picked them up, so I'm not overly concerned there.

Thinking of pruning the yellow, limped leaves.

Temp 86* RH 60%.

As both strains seem to have taken off straight vertically, I opted to do some LST to get a bushier grow, rather than cut into my plants. Both stems were rather stiff, so this is the best I could get for fear of breaking them:

So my soil is still wet after about 5 days or so, last watered Wednesday the 16th. Do I need to be concerned? I had a humidifier pumping out steam to keep the rh up and that could be a contributing factor. First watering after transplant seemed to dry up in about 4 days so... just curious if a watering schedule can vary.

DAY 14
Thought it would be a good time for an update.
Added 4ml/each of GO Grow, Diamond Black, Marine, Weed, Root, CaMg+ with last feeding 4 days ago.

I have the plants LST to where I want them I think.

The second plant below (Blue Widow) is not as stretchy as the Sour OG, so it might need another round of LST as it grows taller. I hope to have approx 10 inches of vert growth now before I switch to flowering. Maybe another two weeks.

I welcome your thoughts or feedback.

Nice looking plants dude, I like the look of that blue dream, super sativa looking leaves. Watering schedules can definitely change based on your environment. It looks like the pots your ladies are in are just a bit large for their size so it will take longer for them to use up all the available water in the pot. The best way is to go by how heavy the pots are.

From just the looks of Sour & Blue, they are still very very young-I wouldn't flip this early, let the girls get used to their new environment, and don't over feed ( I have done that way to many times ) under feeding is ok, but overfeeding can kill the roots that have started. It takes practice, and patience. They look good so far, keep up the good job :)

ps-
Remember even though you want them to grow 'fast', that can be detrimental to your plants. Growing to fast can put an enormous stress, and won't do you or plants any good. Another thing, remember your plants are living beings-maybe different from mammals or birds etc., they will enjoy good care and tlc.

DAY 21: I have been seeing some increased growth so I opted for another round of LST; I have about another month to go before I move to flower and it will give me time to get my flower tent setup and get some clippings for clones. Meanwhile, I will be looking for further vertical growth between now and then - I think I have a farly good foundation set for some nice plants to develop.

My girl Sour all laid out and ready to grow:

My girl Blue looking bushier every day. She is a bit off center but I figure that will work out as she gets taller.

DAY 32: My girls continue to grow taller by the day, - watching them each day the noticeable differences are negligible but when looking at pics from just over a week ago, man what a difference...

DAY45: plants continuing to get fuller. I can start to see how the Blue is going to grow out and the OG is a straight-up bush, I plan to put them in a flower tent this weekend:

DAY 53:

Moved my girls to their new home for flowering - they reached my marks for height in veg before the move, which is nice:
LST to ~18 inches. Stalks as big around as my thumb.

I have them under 135w of 2700k LED lights in a 2.4.6 tent, 18/6 for another few days until I feed them again.
Cheers!

So I had my 2 plants under 15 9w LED screwins for a few days now and the leaves got very droopy like a eagle claw. Early diagnosis is light stress, so I raised the lights to 12-14" from 4-6", I'm hoping that will help.
Thoughts?
