Hey guys, so Its my first time growing and I'm 9 days in from dropping my white widow auto seeds into water, they have been in coco 6 days now and all is good. They sprouted out through the medium and everything seemed fine. 3 days ago I noticed a yellow fade on the outer part of the leaf on both girls and started to get paranoid. I did a bit of research and supposedly all is good that the plants will be concentrating on root development instead of leaf growth. There hasn't been much growth the last 3 days so I assume this to be correct.

I pre washed my medium @ a ph of 6, it had a run off of 6.3
it's a 70/30 mix no nutes.

I did a nute watering day 7, half strength @ a ph of 5.8, each pot got just over 600ml's

Any advise or opinions would be appreciated.

What light hrs are you running ?

Move the light up a couple inches. Start in smaller pots, its easier and safer. Otherwise I think your good. They look healthy. Have a great grow. Keep in touch. I'm ordering an SF2000 soon. Love to hear your thoughts as you go.

I'm also growing white widow auto as my next grow, so I'll make sure to keep checking in! I'm a newer grower so unfortunately I don't know too much about pH levels or applying nutes.

Time to get some Dr Google into you brain there’s so much info see what you find then come back to us with your findings .

Thanks. Im very excited for you. There are some great pros on here. They are extremely knowledgeable and a hell of an asset. I keep it very simple. I've honestly never checked my PH levels. I use filtered water that I let sit for 24 hours ( thats the secret) before mixing my Advanced nutes. I use the supplied feeding chart and have always been fine. I'm also not a big water through guy. I flush once at the end of veg and again at end of flower. Keep it simple and have fun. Good luck on your grow.

I did raise the lights up a small bit but I thought you are supposed to start autos in their final resting spot? I went with 3g pots.
So far this light is perfect, its hanging in a 3x3 and has full coverage, I think this tent is its optimal range, there is minimal heat coming from the light but just enough that I can take the heater out of the tent for now.
Thanks for the help, keep.in touch. cant wait to see these girls grow!!

Please do it would be great to compare notes! I'm a new grower too and with regards ph levels it's really not that hard, i got a ph meter off Amazon and some ph up and down and some ph calibration, once you do it once it's fine. I boiled my water for 5minutes and left it to cool down before I ph'd.
With regards nutes i keep hearing less is more, iv only done a small feeding so cant really comment for now.
Best of luck with your next grow

Yes less is more always keep that in mind .

I'm assuming that's the case even more with autoflowers? Since they're smaller generally?

Also, in regards to your message up there to see Dr. Google- I did! Very interesting stuff and I think that if given the materials I'd be able to do it! The only reason I know ANYTHING about cannabis cultivation is countless bored hours watching grow diaries on youtube and google

Autos are not photoperiod plants, the seedling is supposed to pop then stop, growing slowly while it lays down there roots, i have been running autos continually for 9 years june, you do not feed an autoflower that small ever, you will burn it, a seedling that small i back my light off to 32inc 600w led, when seedling emerges from the tabs and is starting its 2nd set i lower light to 24inc above canopy, i do not feed and then very lighley after day 21 when there big enough, what u need to understand is autoflowers have very weak root systems and are notoriously easy to burn, in veg i use botanacare pro grow 2ml per gal, for flower Atami Bloombastic 2ml per gal but go super easy, your auto will grow slowly until its roots are developed than around day 25 to 30 srain dependent your plant should hit a growth spurt and strech this goes on for a week to ten days ater that it tops off and slows down again, autoflowers need very light nutrients they flower with age not photoperiod, there allso finicky touchy aggravating little bitches but i luv em, need advice or help will be glad, now growing samsqatch og and red poison here are 2 pics of critical my last grow.

Iv researched a lot before starting my grow and have realized there is a lot of info out there and also alot of bullshit and the biggest problem as a new grower is how to figure out what's right and what's not.
I assumed I had a good enough plan to get me going but that came to a halt when I didn't see growth the last 4/5 days but your summary has explained my situation so it just goes to show be careful who you listen to.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated

So here's a follow up to my original post, i have continued as normal my watering has been every 3 days and if been giving 600mls of ph'd water to each plant as they are still small

So here's a follow up to my original post, i am currently on day 15 from dropping seed to water. Which means 12 days in coco obviously.
i have continued as normal my watering has been every 3 days for the most part and i have been giving 600mls of ph'd water to each plant as they are still small. My temps are good and my RH is ok averaging around 50%. Obviously not ideal but with the current situation I cant get my hands on a humidifier. I have been using the wet towel method with success.
I had pre washed my coco mix on day 3 for planting on day 4.the following days I sprayed my plants lightly.
Day 7 i did a nute feed with general hydroponics.
Cal/mag - 2ml
Micro - 1ml
Grow - 1mo
Bloom - .5ml
Ph'd to 5.8
I did this as I was paranoid about the look of plant 1which was a day or two behind plant 2 and also I thought they had a yellow tinge on the leaves.
Day 10 I ph watered plants
Day 14 I ph watered plants.
As you can see in the pics plant 1 is showing g symptoms, which ones I cant pinpoint. Is it under watering, is it nute deficiencies, is it the lights being too close or even the ph of my most bottle which I'm guilty of not checking the ph since I originally ph'd.

I'm at a loss if anyone could help please and thanks
