Okay,
So I've had my girls in a kiddie pool with air stones and everything has been perfect. I moved them into the uc last night and now several of them are drooping. The water level is about the same as it was in the pool. The plants that didn't make the final cut are still in the pool and the leaves are reaching for the light just like they should. The only thing that is different is light intensity, and they are actually getting more aeration now than in the kiddie pool. Anyone ever had this experience?

Thanks,
DN

No, this is an actual droop like they need water or are suffocating. I looked at your pics, plants do that at night a lot. I just call it their "sleepy" look. They'll stand back up when the lights come on.

how much more intense? how close are your lights?

man pix would be very helpful

They went from 1k overhead to 4k vertical. Sounds like a big jump but they are spaced several feet apart, so not really that much more intense. I'll grab my camera next time I go to storage. They are looking a little better today. Maybe they suffered a little shock from the cooler water temps...? I don't know...I grew big plants in a modidfied Krusty bucket system and it was awesome, so I thought I would give the uc a try. It's always a little freaky when you get away from what you know. It'll all come together...thanks for checkin' in guys, I appreciate it, for real~DN

Check humidity, my first run had me baffled and that's what it turned out to be. Got the humidity up to 50% and they turned around.

I'll check it, thanks. Just moved here from the gulf coast so I've never dealt with low humidity!

Could just be normal transplant shock it happens all the time. Keep the nutrients low and givem' some time. I put clones from the tray to a 1k with no problem I wouldn't say its the light. Good luck

Got it figured out guys. Even though I had roots coming out of the netpot...the small amount of rockwool I rooted them in had dried out. All good now, they've bounced back. Sucks I lost time due to a silly mistake but I guess those things happen when you try new methods. Thanks to all who responded!~DN
