Try mixing different solvents and running the same oil with different solvents. also acetone is always a good thing to have on hand to raise the pressure of the reactions slightly, if you do it right you'll get red oil .
Doin stuff right is only accomplished through proper trial and error
oh yeah the oil looks nice! great clear amber oil right there.
Looks Good.....how do you get it out of the jar now ?
How do you vac purge after several hundred runs? What did you learn? Im about to start.
I have a food saver is that ok to purge with?
I purge with a food saver no problem. I do wait a few minutes to let the run settle down a little before the vacuum. You can't get vacuum like you can with a brake tool but still works just the same. I do keep my vacuumed bowl in a bucket of 100* water and purge 5-10 times with vacuum. Water over 110* and you will start to see a loss in turpines and taste. This makes for some smooth tasty pulls.
