WOW!! I never imagined....
I've been looking into the medical MJ situation for a couple of years now; primarily as a remedy for my chronic nerve pain (Charcot Marie Tooth).
I am in a small town and afraid to speak up/out locally. I've tried Dick Lugar, Evan Bayh, and my local representatives; but they are raving reefer madness believers. (Pretty sickening really)
I know legalization for medical use will come someday; and when it does, I'd love to be the first to get into it.
I'd get into it now, but I am 50 with wife and kids and just won't risk going to jail.
Anyone with any medical MJ experience? How to get started? How to get legitimate patients to provide for? How to get paid? How to avoid FED prosecution, even if legal in Indiana? That's the education I'd like to get so I could then get some great seeds and make a little income.
I figure this website is as good a place as any to get started. Any comments?

I am Prop215 legal in California, back in the day I spent some time in your neck of the woods. Indiana can be great, but yeah, it has huge downfalls also. There are a lot of great growers there, hidin out still though. legalization might be good there to help get the meth manufacturers out or into a new job at least! is meth still as bad there as it was 10 years ago??

anyway, until it is legalized in your state for med use you will have zero chance of openly surviving there as a med mj provider

If really interested, you should research the 14 states that already allow med mj and discuss things with your wife/family and make a move. I think Indiana is a few years away still, unfortunately

a man named Bill Levin is trying to make change in Indiana, he is with Re-Legalize Indiana

MI is medical now, hopefully the surrounding states will feel prompted to do the same. I would think that OH and IL will go medical before IN, but I could be wrong. It's just that the laws concerning MJ in IN are more harsh than their sister states.

I agree, Illinois is next for that region. Michigan is med but seems to have their heads up their asses about things still

I damn sure hope Kentucky goes legal ASAP, my family is hiding great old school funky genes down that way! They will come out when they can, for sure.....Soon enough, even DC is allowing the med law finally it seems!

Is there anything going on for med in KY?

I would like to try to help push it along here, but I haven't seen anything other than the now defunct KY4MM and some kinda silly blogs.

so true michigan still does have their heads up their asses. it's still too hard for people who really need the meds to get them. still we just take baby steps in the right direction. my brother lives in illinois and he's saying theres been lots of talk and debate over the topic recently. i think illinois is next up in line.

If we here in KY. want a shot at freeing up cannabis or a shot at any real positive change in this state we need to put Gatewood in office once and for all. Your not gonna get anything from another round with Beshear, especially with Abrahamstein as his right hand. It will be the same old shit, in other words, business as usual. Kentucky has had one of the most corrupt state governments in the country for at least the last 30yrs. It's left this state broke and our kids miserably undereducated. It's time to flip the proverbial script. We Kentuckians need to get our heads out of our asses. Some of us need to let go of our backward ass attitudes and realize that said attitudes are holding ALL of us back. They told Gatewood 30yrs. ago that he was 30yrs. ahead of his time. "Well, here we are." Now's the time!!!
