Hi people. I’m about to flip my photo plants to flower and I want to put them in bigger pots can I do this at the same time as flipping them or should I wait a week?

Personally I would wait. And make your first feeding after you flip a full veg feed. It will need it.

Cheers mate. Also I’m using plant magic old timers organic soil. After the transplant should I carry on with feeding nutrients or does the soil have enough nutrients inside to feed the plants for a bit

I’m not familiar with that soil. Have you been feeding supplemental feedings?

if they are healthy and going into the same batch of soil used on start up : 100% no problem

Some would argue the stress of the transplant would delay the process ; that the time added is because the plant needs to "heal" and "adjust"

My experience says thats not always the case.

If the plants are healthy and you transplant correctly-without any shock its not a problem. If there is unhealthy roots or you shock them, you should wait a week.

Shock is the key, AND it can happen with even experienced growers if you are accidentally rough with the dirt & root mass when transplanting. I like to leave at least a week after I up pot to flip. I like them settled in their new soil all comfy in their beds.

Always best to wait a week if you can.

If your gonna transplant veg them out for like a week or 2 before flipping, your roots grow double in the first 2 weeks of flower during your stretch, but if you go into a pot to big then the plant might waste to much time growing new roots than I’d does focusing on producing flowers,
