Floor plan advice needed Please

Hi Growers,

Hope you super well. I need some adivce on a floor-plan for a hydroponic RDWC Grow setup

Choose between 2 options or Make a suggestion (Maybe I'm missing something?)

A spare bedroom 11 x 11 (345cm by 340cm) on the condition that you would have to at least keep a single bed in it. So maybe a 240x120cm tent + 150x90cm tent?

or

A seperate cornered off, stealth grow chamber 12 x 8.5 (375cm by 260cm)
So 240x240cm tent + 100x60 Lodge x2 (Passage between 240x240 and the 100x60 Lodges x2 with another passage between the lodges. Shaping a T on its side layout.) Ceiling height is 8'/ 250cm.

Only limit on the grow, space. I will be using LED lighting. Will be running Blue Lab Guardian Monitors and RAM fan controllers. AC is preinstalled in both.
I plan on keeping mother plants. Never kept a mother before but would love to keep between 2-6 mothers to clone off of. Hydroponic system is a 18 bucket system if I go with the 240x240 tent. Will be following the @heisenbubble tutorial for diy. Yet to attempt a grow of this scale, however do have previous growing experience. (Nothing compared to the gurus on here :) )

Any advice will be really appreciated.

I'd custom build a small box rather than buy a tent. Just me as you can take full advantage of ceiling height and make it to custom fit thw space.

I did a sealed room but you can do a vented one easy. That was 2 weeks of growth in it.

Thank you. Definitely going with this option. Would you agree that flower room should be double size of veg room/box?

What size do mother plants generally achieve aka how much space does an avg. mother plant need? Not sure about this as normally I do scrog but on a much smaller grow and obviously the mother wont be scrog. Obviously this would differ from strain to strain but surely their is an avg size?

In rdwc I'd say it's best to have single room for both veg and flower.

Ive messaged you back mate, take a look through my mother tent pics, ones 18 month old and is tiny still. It all depends on how many cuts you're going to need at a time. If not many you can easily Bonsai them too

I'm so tempted to split my room up like this and get rid of the tents, my ceilings are 3m tall

I would kill for that... jealous. That durafoam is cheap. A 4x8 is like $10. 2x2 and even 1x2 can be used as a frame if ya wanna go cheap then just glue or tack it up and seal the corners with metal ducting tape.

I'm helping a friend to sort a sealed room out as it's not big enough for a tent. I'm going to price up my job while we do his, then add it to my list of upgrades. I've been on pricing unislabs up with the custom run off trays. Seeing how super clean Dirtbags grow was has got me jealous. The growth and quality he achieved would be a bonus tbh, the ease and getting rid of coco, while still keeping me somewhat in my comfort zone of using a medium is really pushing me towards it.
I try to catch as much as I can with what spare time I get, but I'm still here watching and reading what everyones got going on and stealing gold nuggets of info here and there.

Thanks for the info I may pop in to try and pick your brain closer to the time of setting my mates place up if that's OK bud. I'm sure something will stump me

Make sure you give them some earplugs before they go to sleep :p I think the sound will drive them crazy quickly.

Btw, about the file you requested.
How can I send/post it? Im new to the forum and I dont see a option to add documents? ( correct me if im wrong )

And about your setup, thats a HUGE place imao!

Well with the space i cant help you much, its always tailored setup but one thing as question, did you flower them?

Where i can help you its Hydro, i have years of experience in that, almost i use all of them in different periods and i build them from scratch.

1. Absolutely make sure that your floor for the pots are sealed in case of water leaks, 100% will happens by accident or or...

2. Consider about easy access to each of RDWC buckets, maintenance, cleaning and disinfection, in best case all 7 days,

3. How many cloners did u think to make?

4. If the cloners should be for future hydro systems, think about aerophonic for them, easy to make and your cloners will love it, EC/ppm very low,

5. If you grow mothers and flowers, they cant be in the same RDWC water system, make 2 separate, the nutrients EC/ppm are different
