Florakleen Sand Pool Shock For Flushing

Heyho All
I've been doing reader h on flushing agents.
Right now for me just plain ol R/O water will be used but......
I've been reaserching florakleen.
Can any one explain how it works??
Now I don't need feed schedules and amounts. Got all that.
How does the dextrose/sucrose. (Basically sugar) REMOVE the salt buildup??
Can't digger it out.
Also saw a utube video where for a flushing solution he mixed 1 teaspoon Pool Shock in a gallon of r/o water...., thoughts???

Marangoni effect is the short answer. You will actually flush more from a medium with a light dose of nutrients than you will with r/o.
