hi i was wondering if i can flower plants in a 90cm tall propagation tent, and if so how?
I have the secret jardin DP90 propagtion tent.
thanks

I mean you could...

But you're going to have to flip to flower after a week or two of veg, and use a SCROG or do something to control the canopy.

Not ideal by any means. But, if you had to it'd be possible.

Thats rough.... maybe a skinny led would be smart in there.you could put a whole bunch of clones in it and veg for like 5 days and flip... training is key ... scrog is smart.. like mentioned above

okay thanks for your replies. i have two other questions. first, is the tent good enough for a motherplant? and what kind of light can i use in it? would a mars hydro 600 be okay? :)

Well, the height of your plant is what ever the distance is from the bottom of your light to the top of your pot. :)

Never used the Mars Hydro 600, so cant say how big it is, or what amount of heat it will throw out, with strip lights it would house a small mother plant, or maybe an auto.

okay thanks :D
i guess i will just try it out and tell you how it worked out ;)

Why this size tent? Why not get a plant sized tent

Switch your light on and see how much heat it kicks out, then you will know if the light is suitable for your tent.

is heat the only factor determining the lights distance ?

For me, yes, more output, more heat, plants in flower can't really get enough light, more light, bigger they grow. But the heat output in a tent your size would be a big problem.

Which light would be Best for Such a tent if it were just for propagation or motherplants?

I would be looking at some sort of strip light, a pair, with daylight tubes. What is the width of your tent?

Have a look at 18 inch double tube T8 strip lights, with daylight tubes. Some one else might know of a better option, I've vegged under lights like these and done ok.
