I am getting ready to go into flowering, up till this point in my grow life I have always using hps bulbs only for flowering, as my lamps where spaced apart, 2 1000's per 8 ft. However I setup my room a little different this time, I have 5 600's over 13 feet x 4 ft, I was thinking about using HPS-MH-HPS-MH-HPS to try and get a nice mix of spectrum, but I always like to get other input before I do something. Different minds gather different thoughts. Other wise they will all be HPS. Thanks everyone

ARE you using Hoods? Or Bare Bulb Vert? I'd try that combo, knew a dude who hung 6 600s. With 2 mh bulbs. He smashed it. But i think the cmh bulb mixed would slap. But ima weird scientist. Im about to venture into mixing LED with hps. So I'd say mixture is possible. Wont know till you TRY. Tmb

check into some dual arcs get that even spectrum all over the place!!!! they are affordable these days too, check 247garden. 1000's or 600's. i run them start to finish with great plant health and yield, tighter node spacing and the blue kicks in trich production at the end. this run i have two dual arc 1000's on the out side and I'm trying out a dual 600 reflector in the middle .
