ohhh i gotcha. well what i did was went straight into 4x4 pots after the clones rooted then let them go for QUITE a while in the 4x4's let em get fairly rootbound then i just went into my 5 gal pots probably after 2 weeks of veg time in the 4x4. it seemed to help with the transplant shock, only transplanting once also, so you gain the time that the plant takes to recover after being transplanted. the roots gotta kinda break into new ground ya know?

i dont think it would make a difference. i transplanted like two or three days ago and noticed a large amount of growth since yesterday so mine really didnt take long to establish in the new pots... i think it helped me a lot.

ive seen plants grown in dixie cups on a window sill grow to like almost three feet tall from just the sunlight. stretchy as shit but you get the point, a little bit of soil can actually go a long way.

HAH you just proved yourself wrong!!! your not in your grow room enough to have effects buddy. And if you look up SILICOSIS the people who get it are working jobs related to mining, tunnel building, construction, sand blasting, stone processing and glass working. it is also found in dusty conditions. Careful RMCG Dont breathe, you might get Acute silicosis. LOL

Good thing you don't have fans or any ventilation in your grow room then.

Hope you are eating your buds vs smoking it.

Ignore safe handling practices of rockwool, perlite and vermiculite long enough and you can wonder why you have a persistent cough and shortness of breath.

Well put, now if he was throwing the shit around a huge warehouse all over his plants and was there 8 hours a day, ya after a while it would start to have some health effects on him. I see your concern but if you'd looked at the conditions there really isn't any risk, He lays a layer of DE on his dirt, doesn't go any play around in it or sniff any :fighting0085: , Then waters, so it all gets washed into the dirt anyway. Any if someone is using a a lot of this shit in a big grow they're dumb and should just fix there bug problem some other way as this is dangerous in large quantities but in a small application like this i think hes just fine

You guys can use DE all you want. Just do not tell farmers it is ok to use. The shit kills insects with hard exoskeletons with it's razor sharp edges. What do you think it does with your lungs. Fans put that shit in the air. You guys breath deep just do not tell other newbis it is ok. JK

razor sharp edges that are too small to cause any harm..... LOOK IT UP. Very cheap effective way to kill pests. i GUARANTEE you have never used it before, so you dont know what your talking about. I dont give a fuck about reputation, dont knock something tell youve tried it. You "SENIOR" growers have your head so far up your asses, you dont even consider cheap effective methods, and talk down on newer growers because they dont do it YOUR way. Some day ill be able to have a perfect grow room like you LOL

I guarantee you I have used the stuff before.

I can bet you have never worked in a commercial agri-business nor have you have never worked in a commercial greenhouse environment.

Hell, I bet you've never even grown a real veggie garden before.

If someone tells you to wear PPE (gloves, mask and long sleeves) while insulating a room, you're the kind of dipshit that ignores the advice and 'does it your way' because you don't give a fuck. Then you don't show up the next day because you got an itchy vag.

No one was talking down to you until you copped an attitude, because you just 'know better'...

There is a reason we have two ears and one mouth.
