Flushing Salts Rw

Hey all!
I'm looking to flush my rockwool cubes of salt build up once a week after changing out my resevoirs. Is it better to use plain PH'd water for a weekly flush, or can i use the nutrients in the resevoir i just changed out, about 1000ppm right now?

Is it better to flush to waste?

I've always flushed heavy with ph'd water or water and flushing solution once a week during res change to prevent buildup and lockout.

Thanks a ton! What's your method of flushing the rockwool cubes. Do you flush water over the tops of cubes or just flood your trays with ph'd water and solution? And for how long?

Roots don't like BIG changes I think. Flush with 1/4 strength nutes.
