Flushing

Hey farmers need some input on flushing. I'm about 2 weeks from finishing off my run of the AO gonna start the flush in the next few days, just needed some info on how much water i should be givin for the flush, when i feed they've been getting around 1500ml with around 20% run off mediums 50/50 soil perlite any help's appreciated cheers.skunky

Water the same amount like you would feed, one little thing i tried is cutting out the nutes but i use water and enzymes, as this helps me get rid the rid of the left over nutes in the soil, but to make things easy water like normal just with plain ph'd water.

flush with plain water as you were feeding moderatley keep ph in check 5.8 6.2 piss yellow if u use the dropper ph kit thats what ii use leaves should yellow bottom ones ussaually frst cheers

i agree with him, just like normal with pH'd water or you can throw some molasses in with your water, supposed to fatten em up a lil.

hey..

you would water/flush with more runoff when you have a salt buildup in the medium during the grow..but for final flush it's ok to flush with less runoff or no runoff at all..depends on your medium and strategy..like you can start earlier with giving them ph'd water only without any runoff..or flush heavily with more runoff a bit closer to harvest..

2 weeks til harvest..you better start now..

a good strategy for a 3week flush could be:
- 1st week ph'd water with a bit of molasses (1tsp/gal)..improves the taste of the final bud and still feeds them ladies a bit so yield won't suffer too much
- 2nd week ph'd water only
- 3rd week plain tap water

some folks do ph correction til the end..but i avoid ph up and ph down in the last week..
