Any will do... depending on what you are doing/planning.

Soil? coco? mini bubble bucket?

I am only growing 2plants as this is my first time, I am using soil and have them in my wardrobe so not much room. I was just looking to know what I could give them to give them a little helping hand?

Seriously, if you keep it around, it absolutely will stink, just like a men's bathroom. If you use it while it's fresh you'll never smell a thing.
