Hey guys, I took a break from growing for a while and decided I would share what I'm working on now. I have 2 ladies in one closet under a 240w g8 led in coco loco. I didn't label this run but I believe one is lemon alien dawg and one is tropicoma. They are a little over a month into flower. I'm also setting up another space about 4'x3' I am setting 2 400w led units in. One is a mars 2 and one is apollo horticulture. These 2 units look identical and have the same specs. I have 3 seedlings and one clone that should eventually fill this space. Thanks for looking and enjoy the show.
Small update - little to report on my girls in flower, but they seem to be doing much better this run with LED than I did last time. I think they can go easy for another 30 days. My two biggest seedlings have been topped and my LAD seedling is now in its own smart pot. My tomatoes got a little cold outside so they are sharing the room and soaking up the 2 400w LED's. My clones haven't been touched since going under the zip locks but they all seem to being holding up. Thanks CBDemon and north knect for stopping in.
Small update, just wanted to share what's going in on my veg area with the 400w'ers. I am very impressed with the development of my two oldest seedlings. They have been topped twice and appear to have very good nodal spacing. The light is now at 18" to canopy and were approx. 24" when they were tiny seedlings (lights haven't moved). I hope to have better luck with females this run as they were 50/50 last run and I only have 3 from seed. My clones are hanging on and I have one I know has great root development and is drinking like crazy, and it has roots poking out of cup. I forgot how long it takes to re-veg . I am using diatomaceous earth to treat my worsening fungus gnat problem. It is an organic insecticide that works by shredding insects through their joints and/or absorbing fluids from their body ( yes pretty brual ) Cheers
I think I'm getting more excited about my veg room than the flower room now. I don't know if its the lights or what but they are just exploding! I may be able to fill this space with just these 3 plants instead of fitting 6 like I was planning. After topping twice the two biggest are really getting a nice bushy shape. I just topped the smaller seedling again to aim for the same look as the bigger ones. I just hope these turn female as my last run I got 50/50 :( I still have one clone hanging in there but the other two fizzled out. The two in flower I was thinking about taking down 4/20 but I may only take samples depending on how they're doing.
Hey freespirit, Your veg girls are gorgeous. Those should be some nice yielding plants. I wanted to say from your last image I'm seeing leaf spotting. This is usually from a too low PH level. Hope all is going well!:)
Thanks Orca. My flower closet was exposed to low temp frequently this grow and many nights were in the upper 50's. One side is an outside wall and cold nights affect it. I think that's what has given me some spotty issues. I know it is definitely going to affect the yield. I have been giving tap water for the last several weeks and it runs around 6.5
I took some solo pics of my veg girls. I have one confirmed female now, but the other slightly bigger one hasn't shown yet. The LAD seedling is filling out pretty well but still far behind. I took a small cutting from one in the flower room. I've had to use brick weed for the last several weeks
