Even if I had fully automated I would be in there every night checking on it. I like looking at my plants and watching them growI remember you saying no one waters like you a while back when someone brought up help and after seeing others in their gardens i kinda get what you were saying. Idk if i could go fully automated and lose that connection.
I have certain ways I like to do things and any other way is wrong. Do everything yourself and there's no passing any blame. I hated having a partnerI'm really bad that way, always have been. I could never stand working with someone else because I couldn't stand knowing that I hadn't done it so, it was probably fucked up. lol
I've got this, works nice.View attachment 578531
My ghetto slow water method. Helps reach the plants in the back but i hold the watering can at a 90 degree angle to the vinyl tubing so its barely a trickle and take roughly 5-10 mins per plant slowly letting it drain through.
It's titled watering cans !!! With three exclamation points so you know it's excitingLol love the post already giving it a read.

Sure makes life easierIm just glad im not the only one that gets off on right tool for the job
I ended up going with this though, I'm pretty weak these days, having to hold the can up enough to pour out that far in front of me was hard for me. I just took the sprayer nozzle of so it just pours out when you pull the trigger, gives a lot of reach.View attachment 578531

That's just what's at the shop. I've retired a few to house dutyHaws makes a sprayer i really like, i bet that can is great! Ill compare it to mittens museum of plastic hydration containers and see what comes out of it lol
Oh no, you're not alone. lolIm just glad im not the only one that gets off on right tool for the job

I could see it working well for some people but my scrog frame limits how much I can tip the canLOL damn you! I was all excited to get me one then I read your watering cans thread and got so sad lol
They must be doing something rightSupposedly Haws is the oldest watering can company in the world, according to them anyway! lol
The long handled sprayer minus the sprayer nozzle is the way to go for me when I need to reach. Lately I've been just pulling them to me to water, a little rearranging along the way, lol. I have a grabber I keep just inside the door of my flower tent for reaching the plants in the back.I could see it working well for some people but my scrog frame limits how much I can tip the can
