I dunno if you guys know this but i shoot and edit video. One of my favorite things to do is create visual and audio "trips" as i call them. Sorta like @Og Gong posted earlier but a lot darker and mysterious. I think/believe that the human mind is capable of more entertaining things then some shapes and colors on a screen. Just like...the movie signs...it was scary until you actually SEE the alien and after that its like...okay well i assessed this visual and decided its not scary. But if its unknown, a mystery, the mind will always come up with something scarier then you could show them on a screen. This is the concept i employ when creating a visual trip scene. Or moment.
I might be down. Theres some scenes i shot for my last film that are pretty tripped out. Ill dink around with my computer tomorrow and see if i can't put something togetherNow you gotta show us your work man! That is cool.
