Sorry to hear about ur dog man. My chocolate lab is 9 and i dread the day i have to make a hole for him. I know its must be hard. Again my condolencesWell the dead is done, the backfill is done. Just smoked some wi fi with the bride. Thanks Muffin Man good smoke.
My woman is kinda the same way and doesnt handle any type of criticism well unless i do it in a specifuc way. What I try to do and it seems to work ok sometimes is to wait for the right time, make sure she isn't in a bad mood or stressed. I start by kissing her ass telling her about the things I'm really happy with and after a few good honest compliments I try to easily tell her about one thing I would like to see improved. It helps me to write down compliments first so I don't get dumbfounded in the moment. Don't let her see the list she might say something like well you sure did have to think about some nice things to say. Also I have a list of the reasons why I love her memorized it comes in handy when I need to talk her down quickly.Question.
I want to work on thingsm always. Im a dude. Nothing is ever good enough it can always be better.
I say to my lady, i feel like some things are moving in a negative direction, eating unhealthy, smoking too many cigs...type stuff.
She gets upset with me cause i want this "change for the better" and i am 100% being understanding, nice, and not shoving it down anyones throat. She asks. I tell.
Now im in trouble for "never" being satisfied with the way things are, always wanting to change and move forward. I think she wants me to be okay with our unhealthy lifestyle, im not okay with it i want to move forward with our lives. To bettet ourselves.
So now she says she feels like everything she does isnt good enough, and im trying to back pedal and make her see that i dont NEED things to be that way, i WANT them to be that way. And im not unhappy cause theyre not, i see a life that i want so i want to work towards it.
Can someone please help me find a way to explain this... Im super lost
