Wow you guys are definitely getting the shaft! Where i am it only cost me 30 bux a month per 1k. Thats during flowering cycle, veg is a bit more but not much. So here running a 1400 watt room would cost me under a 100 bux a month. My bill altogether with all my other appliances is always under 200 bux.

A 30kw system would run over $200k no matter how you cut it. Depending where you live and the contractor you use it could cost almost $300k. The few systems in my area all ran over $50k for a 6-10k systems on roofs of 5000sqft homes and those are Grid tie systems. It would take almost 10,000sqft worth of panels and over 60,000w worth of batteries on a 30k system alone, batteries cost from $200-$2500 each. This picture is the size of a single 10k system, HUGE. The downside of panels this big, they dont move so there not efficient year-round. The bigger you go the more things ya gotta have charge controllers $600 a piece, for a 30k system youd almost have to use 5500w inverters at $4500-5000 a piece. And it also depends what panels you use, some cost 2x as much as others.

Hey no offence Billy, but just who do you think runs the Government? The Government? Hell no Billy, they do what they are told to do by big business who pay them to do what they want them to do. You still believe in honesty, fairness, and justice don't you Billy? Wake up man this is Western Civilisation in 2009. But don't worry because it will all be coming to an end real soon ;)
