So you just spray the top of the medium?I don't use nutes, I mostly use just water. I imagine you can mix with nutes though. I don't measure, I just squirt some into my chaplin sprayer. It's probably like a teaspoon in two gallons of water
Yes you can also foliarSo you just spray the top of the medium?
Literally have no idea why said that :/foliar bti? no offence but why?
Yeah I've used those before...If I remember correrctly you gotta have your drain 2" above the bottom of the container with water in the bottom or something or maybe that's another style....I only did it for one grow. Occasionally I try different styles I read about, not because I wanna change my style, I do it for the experience and to check it first hand.these fucking things are unstoppable. im about to ditch coco. fuck coco and fuck fucking fungus gnats.
perlite hempys? anyone ever use those? cant imagine theyd like perlite as much as coco. its like the perfect habitat for a fungus gnat family, coco....
Hydroton at the bottom and coco up top.I may as well try a perlite/verm classic hempy alongside my coco pots. im not done on coco im just feeling like theres got to be a better way and like you said, you gotta try it out.
any chance you had no gnats in hempys? or did you do coco hempys? lol
One word-nematodes.these fucking things are unstoppable. im about to ditch coco. fuck coco and fuck fucking fungus gnats.

And add on the hyposis miles:D I like em because I can see the little shits running around doing there job.One word-nematodes.
I grow in coco and as you say its the perfect enviroment for em coz cocos supposed to be kept wet the whole time but with a dose if cheap nematodes then another 2 weeks later and some sticky yellow traps they clear the fg right up.better than any pesticide.cheaper too probably
Well what’s the difference between Bto and bmc?Yes it is common practice to apply BTI foliar. It is an endotoxin meaning it is taken in systemically, as is spinosad and neem oil. OG Biowar foliar pack is BTI

I had a few perlite Hempy containers on my veg table...they were 1.5 gallon round pots...they were doing great for a few weeks then it actually stayed too moist down at the bottom of the reservoir (on the bucket)...stems got purple...then I noticed tons of fungus gnats chillin in the medium..these fucking things are unstoppable. im about to ditch coco. fuck coco and fuck fucking fungus gnats.

I even went back and read through some of the comments thinking I got confused but I didn't really see anything that would pertain to foliar spray! Ha bong
Maybe switching from different threads?
But I've never foliar sprayed bti, nor would I recommend it... except that time I did above
There would be no point.
Good call out!
Edit... Maybe I was thinking he was talking about the chaplain sprayer?
Cause I mentioned that's what I use, so when he said do you just spray the top of the medium and I replied yes you can also use it for foliar.
That's the only thing I can make sense of.
