Sum reason I'm confuzed. Are you talkin' about JGB fake fake JG, or GD fake fake JG, or ???
Any1 playin' w/ the boys is living "the dream". On many levels.
That being said, I've only seen them 3-5x's since JG died. Last time was in a new, completely restored 1930's era concert hall in Oakland, CA. It was close to olde times.
Yeah i had a great time, but know what you were saying. seems even they were asking for it to be louder at the beginnning of the first set. Kinda weird it wasn't just booming in a place like that. I most def think the second set was better though...
Its crazy that the "Jerry" is from the Dark Star Orchestra. They were the best GC cover band in the Bay Area for years.... Nice to see the 'fake' Jerry is living the dream...
Old Garden shows were awesome. Always weird to spill out into the city when you were still tweaking... I liked the shows in Albany (the Egg, wtf is that Egg?) vs Boston or NYC/NJ though.
My first show was in 85 or 86? Was lucky enough to hit a few (4 or 5?) NYE shows in Oakland over the years too. :)
JGB @ Shoreline on my B-Day. Probably my absolute fave show/venue.

Never heard a Seven Hills of Gold... here it is
Furthur 12/30/2010 - Seven Hills of Gold Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco CA
Sure, fake Jerry is nothing compared to Warren Haynes, or Ryan Adams singing with these guys. Lord, my first show was in 73, at the Denver Coliseum before it became home to roller dolls and monster truck rallies. There is nothing like the real GD. They were not borrowed/fake/burned out inflatable Dead.
