Growing with Gaia Green - Shaded's Method

Hello and welcome to my "Growing with Gaia Green" guide! Figured I would just make a post that can be referenced instead of constantly writing this out in DM's or threads. Gaia Green products are 100% organic dry amendments for cannabis use. They are a Canadian based company but they also...

Just to clarify for my own notes. Is there a difference in amending and top dressing amounts? : )

I am following along, as I have an unopened bag of ProMix as well as the goodies from Gaia....I am just too chicken shit to try it.

I will try to get through my current grow (FF trio) successfully first, then hopefully I will be educated enough to try organic!

The one thing I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around is the amount onto the up pots. I’m afraid if I add the recommended amount it’ll be too much for the seedlings coming from solos. I half dosed the 284 and quartered the 444 for the top dress in the flower room and then halved the amount of 444 in the veg room (amended and top dressed).

You can do it homie! I’ll tag you when I do the amending in my 2gals for the Cali blues!

I think how much to amend would depend on the soil being used. I amend 3 tbsp per gallon when I mix my recycled soil because it tends to be depleted from the previous use. Shaded's method adds nutrients to the soil mixture used for the first transplant, but I don't recall what soil he used. It might be best to use less nutrients for soil that already contains some nutrients.
